Okay these aren’t necessarily my favorite scenes or the scenes that broke my heart the most, it’s just the scenes where I thought these women KILLED it in the acting department.


1x19; Ya’ll know I’m not the biggest Brooke fan and I’m so far up Leyton’s ass lol, but I have always admitted that Leyton did Brooke dirty in season 1 and I think this scene is when it really hit me just because Sophia really made you feel Brooke’s pain and betrayal, especially when she delivers the iconic line to Lucas…”How could you cheat on me with my best friend?! link scene [/url]

5x11; I still remember watching this episode and literally getting chills! Like idk, the way Sophia teared up and then delivered the line “You’re fired.” And then when Victoria says I’m your mother or whatever and she goes “I know” Like, chills. link scene [/url]

6x03; Man, Sophia’s acting fucked me up this scene!! Like you could really tell the trauma Brooke had gone through, how she held it in, and how she couldn’t handle the pain anymore! link scene [/url]

3x16; I feel like this scene is often overlooked just because BJL and Hil KILLED it this episode and they had bigger roles as well (so it’s understandable) but Sophia did a really good job of portraying Brooke as the scared girl who doesn’t know what’s going on and then making her realize how her actions truly affect everyone, even if she doesn’t realize it. link scene (skip to 2:21) [/url]

6x13; I’m specifically talking about the scene where she holds a gun to Xavier’s head. But yeah, once again Sophia did a really good job of showing us how traumatized Brooke really was after the attack and how messed up Xavier had made her! link scene [/url]

tbh I always admire someone's acting skills in bamf scenes rather than crying scenes that's why I'm choosing this one but I really think she was great in every single one of these & especially in the 3x16 one. I love that crying scene of hers so much and the way her whole body reacts not just her face.

@Kir, I actually always thought her acting in that scene was overrated :P like I even put my biases aside and watched the scene and yes she does a good job, but there's definitely other scenes where she did waaaaaaay better! But I'm actually sad I didn't include 6x19, the scene where she breaks up with Julian and then comes home and cries because AMAZING!!!

Aaaaand I can't choose and I'm watching all scenes and crying..

I love that you chose some not so obvious scenes for Sophia's acting! If you had put Brooke talking to the journalist in 3x16 instead of the crying I would 100% choose this because I cry my ass out every fucking time because of her talent.. But literally all these and the coloring of her voice is amazing in dramatic scenes <3
