‘Outlander’ Season 3: New Look At Older Jamie & Claire Revealed — Watch

Looking good, Jamie and Claire! In a super cute video celebrating World Outlander Day, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan showed off the older versions of their characters while on set filming season 3. Don’t they look great?!

Caitriona Balfe, 37, and Sam Heughan, 37, are hard at work finishing up filming season 3 of

, which will feature our beloved Claire and Jamie 20 years older. The show’s official Twitter page posted a video of Sam and Caitriona on June 1 giving us 3 reasons to look forward to the new season. We’ll get to their reasons in a hot minute, but let’s talk about the pair’s looks. Caitriona’s Claire looks noticeably older with her gray roots. She’s rocking much more gray than she did in the season 2 finale. Sam’s Jamie has much lighter red hair than we’ve ever seen on him before. Besides the hair, Claire and Jamie look pretty much the same, despite the fact that they’re much older.

In the video, Sam and Caitriona reveal they only have 3 weeks left of filming. The pair also drop 3 cryptic hints about what you can expect in the new season: soup, the print shop, and coconuts. For those of you who’ve read the third book in the

, these hints make so much sense. Jamie feeds Claire turtle soup when she gets sick, Claire and Jamie first reunite in the print shop after she travels back to Scotland, and the pair heads to a coconut-filled Jamaica at the end of

This isn’t our first look at an older Claire. The season 2 flashed forward 20 years to 1968. Claire was rocking a Jackie Kennedy-esque bouffant hairstyle with a few gray streaks. We didn’t get a chance to see an older Jamie in season 2. The new season will feature Jamie and Claire immediately after Claire goes back through the stones to 1948 and throughout their 20-year separation before Claire decides to go back through the stones to find Jamie, after discovering he didn’t perish in the Battle of Culloden.

The first season 3 trailer was revealed in April 2017, and from the looks of it, this season is going to bring on all the tears. Despite being centuries apart, Jamie vows to reunite with Claire.
