A couple of months passed, and one day, Erin, Paul and Carl got invited to a party sejak their classmate, Lola. Lola had spoken to them some after class, and she seemed nice enough. Still, something was odd to them. Carl said, "I'm curious. Why did she invite us to her party? Isn't she one of the popular girls?" Paul said, "I don't know. It seems like it. I mean, she's always hanging out with the popular girls." Erin said, "Yes, she is. I wonder if this is a scam, atau maybe she's just being nice?" Carl said, "Let's hope she's being nice." On the hari of the party, the three Friends arrived early. Lola said, "Hi, you're a little early. Come on inside." None of the other guests had arrived. Maybe they would pour in at the last minute. When it was time for the party to actually start, no one else showed. Lola said, "I knew it! The popular girls only like me because I help them with their homework." She sat down on the couch. Erin, Paul, and Carl saw past Lola's thick-framed glasses. She had a sadness in her eyes. Erin sat beside her and said, "Lola, if people like anda just because anda help them with their homework, they don't really like you. If they really did like you, they would like anda for you." Lola said, "In that case, nobody likes me." Erin said, "I like you." Lola said, "You do?" Paul said, "Yeah. You've always been nice to us." Lola smiled and said, "Let's have some fun. It's still a party." At one point during the party, Erin, Paul, and Carl spotted a bass. Paul asked, "Do anda play bass, Lola?" She said, "Yeah." Erin said, "We're starting a band, and we haven't found anyone to play bass for us." Lola said, "That sounds perfect. I'd like to be in a band." The seterusnya day, they all met at Carl's. Lola had a great chemistry with the band. She was in. Afterwards, the foursome discussed music. Lola was just as passionate about Muzik as they were. They even had similar tastes. Lola said, "You know, I really like hanging out with anda three. You're all so cool." The only thing missing was a name for the band. They decided to hold off on a name and figure it out later.

Rubyrings I feel so sad for Lola. It reminds me of my birthday parties when I was younger. There was this one girl in my class who always said she was going to show up and then never did.

ChiliPepperLuv That's sad. If it makes you feel any better, none of my "friends" ever came to my birthday parties. It was always just me and my family. Sometimes my cousin, who is two years younger than I am, would show up, but that was about it.

Rubyrings I've been thinking. My best idea so far is "New Religion" because of Erin deciding that her religion is music. That name hasn't been used before, has it?

Over the seterusnya couple of weeks, the wedding started to come together. Everett's mother took Una shopping to find the perfect teal fabric for the bridesmaids' dresses, meja, jadual covers, and such. Una and Everett were looking through the bridal magazine to pick out a color scheme for their wedding. Finally, Everett said, "Since your kegemaran color is blue, and mine is green, why not use the color teal? It's the perfect combination of both colors." After Everett received his discharge papers and his crutches, Una asked him, "Are anda hungry?" He said, "Yes, very." She said, "Okay. We'll get something to eat, then I'll take anda home." "What do anda mean?" Una once again prepared to listen. Everett replied, "While my immediate family was supportive of my dream to go into film editing, not everyone was kind. Lots of people told me that I couldn't do it: most of my schoolmates, some teachers, even my extended family." She said, "How awful!" He said, "I know, but I didn't let that keep me down. My father even told me that I should go for it, no matter what anyone says. I looked at different film schools, and I got accepted into one that is fairly close to where I grew up. Upon graduating, I started preparing to go to film school. I started that fall, and I got a job at the local makan, kantin to help my parents cover the apartment rent."
