Pop Muzik these days is bullshit, absolute bullshit. Most of them use the same 4 chords on the same type of gitar over and over again, and often that chord progression is exactly the same as another song. Most singers now have to use autotune just to sound good because they lack proper talent. I know people in the school chior who are above that, who can make their voice pitch perfect on demand. hell, the people in my orchestra can sing better than that, and they don't need to wear blasted meat Suits atau need to sertai the latest fad of a boy band to feel good about themselves. Hell, my girlfriend, first chair pemain biola, violist at the school orchestra, can learn how to play songs sejak Evanescence (A very good newer musical group sejak the way.) in a matter of hours atau even minutes, and can sing like an angel.
Needless to say there are newer bands I like, but the popular songs in this blasted pop ganre with those untalented musical wannabes like One Direction, atau Justin Bieber, of snoop dog, and so on, are an insult to music.

I don't pay attention to modern Muzik that much. I like to listen to a time when Muzik was about meaning and telling a story and not just making money.

I Know, it's fucking crazy

such as Keith's song "Nothing But anda and I" is one of the most heartfelt realistic Cinta songs I've ever heard, and barely anyone knows it. (and I'm not just saying that because he's Keith, I'm saying it because of the lyrics)

But anda make a cheesy songs about one night stands, sex in general, atau being someone your not, BAM it's the seterusnya big thing.

It seems the Muzik Industry only cares about quantity rather than quality.

That is exactly why I don't listen to today's music. I think Gangnam Style is the only good song out of this crap. I listen to mostly 70-80's and alternatives. Even most smallest bands I listen to, like The Aquabats! They have their own T.V. tunjuk as well.

Not all modern Muzik is 1 Direction there's lebih to that.

~basing my answer off the kind of Muzik I like~

On one hand, I really wish the bands with better lyrics (La Dispute, ADTR, Mayday, etc.) had lebih fans, but on the other hand, they would start to lose their meaning if too many people listened to the bands without understanding. I mean, if those 12 tahun old girls who listen to 1D started listening to the other aforementioned bands, they would obviously not understand what the bands are all about and the bands would lose what makes them special. Because the thing about these bands is, to understand them you've got to have been through some kind of shit, and not everyone has. So it's about bandom. Bandom would be destroyed. So I'm happy where things are, actually, as much as I hate pop.

I honestly don't care if lyrics are cheesy atau not (I Cinta "I Want to Hold Your Hand", but come on, those lyrics aren't exactly groundbreaking). What I do care about is how the artist sings the song. What's missing from the Muzik industry these days are artists who sing with such a passion that turns a song with cheesy lyrics into a great one because they put their hati, tengah-tengah and soul into it. Artists these days seem to only be focused on the money and getting the seterusnya #1 single. We need lebih passionate artists in the Muzik industry, people who actually care about the quality of the Muzik they're putting out there.

I can actually go on longer about everything that's wrong with the Muzik industry, but that will be a very long paragraph. I think I'll just save it for my blog. LOL.

Pop teeny bopper bands need to grow up. im a country girl and listen to all country and only country. Im a keith urban kinda girl. i really Cinta no other singers. Call me close-minded, but i Cinta only one singer. (keith). I mean, i listen to Florida Georgia Line "Get your shine on" a lot but not NEARLY as much as my keith urban. my room....KEITH URBAN FREAKING EVERYWHERE!!!!! I Cinta IT! (ps the only reason i play gitar is because he is such an inspiration of mine...he made me fall in absolute Cinta with acoustic gitar playing and fall in Cinta with lyrics. i sing a little too... ♥)

Well it's always gonna be like that, I hate it tho.
I listen to a lot of different artist and different kinds of
music, they call me weird because I do.
Not that it bothers me, I think songs that are popular now
really shouldn't be.
Like Talyor Swift's (How ever anda spell her name) song, We are never ever ever getting back together.
I hate that song so much I don't know why atau how anyone could like that song. I mean it's an oka song but...yea.
It's the name with a lot of rappers also.
But hei song of those songs are good tho, it really all depends on the person's taste in Muzik I guess.

Here´s the thing:
Some are talented sejak hati, tengah-tengah and easily get their fameand some make the possible to get famous.
The fame depends on how many people listen to their song, how many buy their CD´s, etc but mostly how many scandals atau well..how know they are.
My opinion about Muzik is that some songs are so modificated (autotune,dubstep) , which is a the thing that makes some songs sound..bad and the other thing is that some songs talk about the same topic.

All modern Muzik sucks so bad. All anda hear are the same 10 songs on the radio! I'm so glad that my local radio station doesn't play shit like Rihanna, Bieber, Drake, One Direction, atau Katy Perry.

They play bands and artists like Godsmack, Nirvana, Alice in chains, Papa Roach, Ozzy Osbourne and the senarai goes on.

Pop Muzik is trash and needs to be taken off the air waves.

My opinion is. I like mainstream and non-mainstream music. What's talent to someone may be trash to someone else. Opinions are relative. People shouldn't overly hate something just for the fact it's mainstream atau not to their liking. And if anda do hate something then people shouldn't bash with their hate. I mean I despise Twilight yet I don't tell a Twihard their kegemaran movie sucks.

I completely agree. I for one never listen to people such as Wrong Direction and the memerang Boy. The only reason people say they like these people is because they claim that these singers are 'hot", not the quality of the music. I personally like listening to orchestra music, especially Muzik like this from movie soundtracks. anda don't sound like an old lady, anda just have lebih common sense than others when it comes to music.

Yep, listen to some artists with real substance. Like rock artists :D

Most Muzik is like that these days. It doesn't seem to matter if it makes sense atau mentions lebih than sex it's mainly about a good beat & becoming a hit. A lot of the songs are catchy whether it's the dumbest song out there atau not. There are some baru-baru ini songs I like so I don't think popular Muzik sucks all the time. I never liked that Gangnam style song though. It's annoying in my opinion and I barely know what the hell he's saying.
