Rawak Soalan

What ethnicity does this character look like?

I'm the kind of person that likes giving my characters specific ethnicities unless they're from a made up place, but it's not the case here.At first I was just going to make his ethnicity ambigous, but I decided to change my mind. He has golden skin, dark hair, and brown eyes btw.

He doesn't look like he belongs to a specific ethnicity... dunno

Some Rawak ones I think could fit:

Argentinian
Filipino
Portuguese

Although I dunno how many people from those places are named Conan lol

I think your art skills are pretty good - one thing I wanna say tho is that the distance between his eyes and the bahagian, atas of his head seems kinda small

I just really like the name Conan. Now that yoy mentioned it, his forhead is pretty small and his eyes are meant to be close set.

Uhh.. I guess, Filipino is the closest thing I can come up tbh :L

As for your drawing, it's not particularly bad, but it does need some work; specifically in the anatomy proportions (e.g. the eyes and neck) and a bit of shading could help it appear lebih realistic & greatly improve the art quality. There are other factors as well but it's better to start with practicing the proportions before anything else.

Uh thanks. What else needs work?

Hmm, it's probably best to alih on to lighting & shading (hatching & cross-hatching) once anda get the proportions well. It'll also give lebih depth if you're going for a 3-D drawing. Once the basics are down it's around this time to start developing a clean & individual style and to practice that which type of style anda fit best over & over again. Practicing a simple drawing /nearly/ everyday really helps out and makes anda lebih confident in moving up the level of difficulty. It does get hard at times but it's possible, I promise 👌
