Shadow kept running through the woods until he came upon a small cave. It had started to rain when he got there he was soaked from head to tailtip. "Look's dry in there, guess I'll sleep here tonight." he berkata to himself. When he walked in it was cold and dry. He shook the water from his bulu and looked for a place to sleep. He found a flat rock and curled up on it. Before he closed his eyes he saw a glow come from a curve in the cave. He got up to see what it was. Shadow walked to where the glow was coming from, and when he turned the corner he couldn't beleive his eyes. It was a room full of different colored crystals, jewels, silver, and gold. It was so unreal that Shadow thought he was dreaming. "Oh my God!" Shadow berkata under his breath. He glanced from crystal to crystal admiring each one. Then he saw in the middle of the room was a purplish-black crystal statue in the shape of a dragon with a large black gem on its chest. He stalked up to it, but when he was three feet away it started to glow and its eyes turned as white as the crystals. He took a step back and watched it come to life. It walked towards him and berkata in a whisper-like female voice "Who dares enter the chamber of the Dark Queen!" "Shadow the Hedgehog." "Ha! anda look nothing like a hedgehog!" "I turn into a werehog at night." "Another were-creature! anda must leave now atau face the consequences!" "I'm not afraid of you!" "Verywell, anda have made your decision, PREPARE TO DIE MORTAL!!" She lashed at him with her long sharp tail, he jumped just to meet with her sharp teeth. She bit down on his shoulder. He scratched her on the eye, she flew back in pain and gave him a menacing stare. He jumped up and punched the black gem on her chest, just as he did purple and black lightning surrounded her. "You will regret that mortal!" she rasped. A black stream of lightning shot from her gem and into his heart. He fell to the ground weak. "Wha-what have anda done to me." he choked out. "You will now feel what I feel, anda will now see what I see!" she shouted at him. She gave an evil laugh at him. Soon every thing went black, and the ground came to Shadow quickly, he heard the dragoness give another evil laugh.
