well,so far now,i've just did it once,when on lost shannon died.
the show became so boring after her death!!!

depends, I guess. I mean if House dies there is no house. so no show to watch any more. depends on how important the character is for me and for the show, I guess.

The one time I can think of was when Kellie Martin's character died on ER...I refused to watch for years. Then, I started watching again just in time to see Dr. Greene die. :(

I usually have more than one favorite character. For example, Boone was one of my favorite characters on Lost, but he died in the first season. Since then, other characters have become my favorites.

well i was very sad when Boon died , But as long as it's not Sawyer I'll be fine !!

I would watch the next season to make sure how their death affected other people. Then I'd see if the next season was any good without them, if it was I'd continue to watch, if not I'd stop.

but my all tiem favorite character died..jen lindley (dawsons creek) and the reason i didnt stop watching the show was because it was the fianle lol

It depends on the character, but possibly I'd do so.

My favorite character on Degrassi was JT. He died,and I still watch it.

I stopped watching Lost, because of Charlie, when he died i had no more reason to watch it :(
And when Dean from SPN would die, i wouldn´t watch the show anymore :(

If Chuck from GG died I might stop watching :/

Lost - Juliet die and Grey's Anatomy - Lexie Grey. Both these characters died but I've continued to watch these shows, however I didn't watch Season 4 of the OC. I'm not sure if that's because Marissa died or not.
