Me? Im a Delena gal! The lebih I saw Elena spend time, with Damon, the lebih I saw his humanity come out. I believe Elena helped slowly turn Damon into a better person. I'm not saying she didn't Cinta him for the badass vamp he was, I'm just saying she loves Damon no matter what and was able to see the good in him when everyone else refused to.

Elena makes Damon weak. Not in the bad way, but in the way that he loves her so much, and he would do ANYTHING for her and therefore she is his achilles heel. Before we can be strong, we must be weak, and Damon's Cinta for Elena makes him feel lebih than he's ever felt, which makes him stronger.

She is everything to him. It seems lika a funny sidcom because she doesn't know the affect she has on him. But she does feel the affect he has on her. Whenever Damon is around, Elena seems lighter somehow, as if the weight of the world isn't pressed upon her, as if Damon is sejak her side carrying it with her.
It is in those moments and many others that we see the extent of their Cinta for each other. I won't ignore that Bamon has something atau Stelena Cinta each other, I'm just saying that the passion and the Cinta Damon and Elena share are worth fighting for. Elena and Damon are enemies first, then friends, then lovers... Don't the best ones start out that way?
