The sound was haunting, alluring. It overruled her senses, driving her into some sweet perfection and causing her to crave it. It was dangerous, unknowing. And it seduced her. Her eyes opened, looking into light purple. Hypnotizing purple. A hand stroked her cheek lightly. The lebih she stared, the lebih she couldn't pull her gaze away.
“Glad anda could sertai me. I wouldn't want to be called a liar. Are anda ready?”
She nodded, not looking away. He removed his hand from her cheek and helped her up. She kept her eyes on him as he lead her into a different room. He turned to her.
“Get dressed. He'll arrive soon.”
He left her alone and she stared where he had exited a few moments ago. She turned her head to look at the desired outfit. She slipped into it and adjusted a few pieces before he entered again.
“Perfect. Come with me.”
He took her hand once lebih and lead her outside.
“Don't say a word, alright?”
She nodded, this time listening to his command. He seemed to smile and placed his lips on hers gently. Her eyes closed, partly from habit, partly because she was under his spell. He pulled away and she heard the sound of wings. Her eyes opened.
“You better not have just been Ciuman her!”
She looked at him, forgetting about her trance for just an instant. Fang?! Seraphs laughed unkindly.
“What difference would it make bird-boy? She didn't do anything.”
“I can see you've placed some kind of spell on her, Seraphs! Release her. Now!”
She opened her mouth a little, wanting to speak. But the trance came back to her and she ignored her desire. There was nothing Devin could do but wait, watch, and try to get rid of her trance.
“What if I don't want to? She's quite the companion.”
Devin didn't know exactly what happened. All she saw seterusnya was a bleeding Seraphs and Fang holding a sword. It was obvious what had happened even though she hadn't seen it. Fang could alih faster than she had known.
And that one strike turned into a full on fight. Metal clashed and both moved with determination. Devin found she couldn't move, even as one of the swords came close to her. At some point, the weapons were forgotten. She couldn't tear her eyes away, but neither did she want to. She herself may not have been able to move, but with every blow Seraphs took, she was able to break free from his trance.
And she could alih other things. She kept watch on their every move, sometimes helping Fang out when his blows weren't as strong. Then, suddenly, Seraphs was gone. Fang came over to her, bloodied and breathing hard.
“Are anda okay?” he asked.
She nodded and was able to move.
“I'm sorry,” she whispered.
He pulled her into a tight hug, ignoring her words. He pulled away enough to Ciuman her and then pulled her close again.
“I got anda back. That's all that matters.”
