His raven hair dripped crimson blood to the mistreated battle field. The spear had long been removed from his head but the bleeding went with the hours that had passed in useless war. His breathing was slowing; he could hardly see the outline of who had been his king through his icy blue eyes. It was a bloody fight, all lives Lost except his and his king's. Now, he fought off the clouding death penetrating his senses.
“I had hoped for better with us.”
He smiled sadly at the word's his uncle spoke.
“As had I, my lord.”
“You tried to overthrow me and kill me. Treason is cause for death. Even though anda are of my blood. My brothers in arms.”
“And for that, my majesty, I'll spare you. This once.”
pahit laughter rang in his ears.
“You shall spare me? anda have no strength to stand, yet anda have nerve to say such a thing?”

“Aye. I shall let anda be spared from the bitterness of the world. anda shall rest until anda are needed once more. At that time, I shall come to aide you. I will be your knight, worthy of everything but taking nothing. And when at last we meet again, your story shall be reborn. And I will not be the same as before. I swear to ye, my king, that I shall lay my life down for you. My oath as your knight I shall keep. And now, with my last breaths, I beg of anda to forgive me for this.”
He stood suddenly and jabbed the king's sacred sword into the body of it's master. Icy eyes watched dark brown fade of life and surprise. He withdrew the sword and lay it at his king's side.
“Now then, my king, I shall see anda when the time comes. Long live Artōrius.”
He lay on his back and let the overwhelming hunger of death eat the last of his life away. Our story will be rewritten in to that of legends,
