The answer is that there is no answer.

Lewis Carroll never intended for there to be one.

As sane, rational people we try to assign a reason to everything and give it meaning. Why are we here? What is my purpose for living? We embrace design, order/organized, reason & rationale, "if this then that" type logic. In a universe that favors entropy (the thermodynamic trend observed in the world where everything tends to go FROM order TO disorder, chaos) we strive for laws and absolutes like “cause and effect” atau “for every action there is an opposite reaction.”
A riddle must have an answer. Otherwise it’s just plain nonsense. Ridiculous really. Silly.

It’s madness.
