I think they resemble each other in some of their facial features. Both have similar noses, a dimpled chin, full-lipped mouth and their eye color is nearly the same shade of blue. Anakin's eyes are a little darker shade of blue than Luke's.

Seeing the pictures that have Anakin and Luke back to back, show how much they actually look alike. I wonder if George Lucas noticed that when he cast Hayden...?

I'm sure Lucas did notice! I think is really amazing!

I watched the originals first, and later when I saw in a book a picture of Anakin (part of the reason why I watched the prequels*_*), I was like "hey, he looks a lot like Luke!!!"
