Depends really

To me, I think it's very good. I like action anime, especially the Fighting scenes. Dragon Ball is a good fighting anime. So is Naruto and Bleach. I really like Fighting scenes in anime even though it's quite bloody. It gives a good fight in a death battle and it shows that the Good guys or the Bad guys will win. So to me, I like Fighting anime and I think that it is very good

Action anime are entertaining, to see the guy vs the evil. Some do it better then others though. Such as Bleach, if there is a battle in it, those fight scenes can last three episodes, which make you loose interest and get bored. But like in FMAB, the fights are always super epic and the only fight I can remember being more then one episode, are the last few. Which is normal, the last episodes are when the plot is almost to the end. So you have the final epic battle, which FMAB did perfectly. Fight scenes are always epic and enjoyable to watch, either it's in anime or live action like in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Definitely no ifs, ands or buts!!
Especially DBZ, Naruto, Bleach! (I know of many others too)

@Pumpkin: I totally agree. Action and fighting scenes are very entertaining to watch, in anime, movies and TV shows.

@Naruto: Yup. Dragon Ball, Naruto and Bleach are very good fighting anime.

And why the hell not? It encourages some of the most entertaining interactions and some of the most incredible animation I've ever seen. I love this stuff.

I don't hate it, it's just not my thing, I guess.

In general, I'm pretty bored with fighting anime. There are too many that just don't do it for me, any more. I got sick of Bleach, plus I'm getting tired of the painfully ridiculous wait in One Piece at the moment. I'm enjoying D. Gray Man, but not just for the fighting. Basically, I enjoy fighting in anime, but I like those anime to have good character interactions, too. I'm also enjoying Fairy Tail, but that's because it's hilarious, as well as having some good fights here and there. Really, I just enjoy some good humour in an anime.

I think it depends on how the animation, sound and effects of the action scenes are done. Some action scenes such as in GetBackers and Saiunkoku Monogatari are so terrible they're hilarious. However other animes with great action such as Bleach, Naruto and Cowboy Bepbop make it interesting to watch.

I love fighting anime, one that I'm not a huge fan of but I still like, is GBZ just because its a continuous battle like right after you get done fighting Cell or whatever that took 10 esp. You start fighting again right after that and it just gets boring. At least have some free time between each fight, like Naruto or Bleach. Best fighting battle Itachi vs Sasuke. <3

I like action as much as the next guy, but it needs to be more than that. I don't really care for anime like DBZ or One Piece where it's just the exact same thing over and over again, fight after fight. I like action anime where the plot is more complex and the characters more developed. Not ones where no matter how badly injured they get, the good guys never die and fights last longer than the entirety of Angel Beats.

I really enjoy action anime like Inuyasha, FMAB, Shakugan no Shana, A Certain Scientific Railgun or Rosario Vampire. It either has to be more complex with epic fights or have a lot of comedy. Romance also helps spice up an action anime.

I enjoy watching fighting anime a lot. :) But sometimes I don't if the animation's pretty bad.

For the most part, I don't care for it. I have a tendency to only pay half of my attention to battle scenes, for example.

I'm a HUGE Naruto fan, so I certainly can't say I hate fighting anime, but it's not the fighting that makes me adore Naruto so much. It's the other things: the plot, the characters etc. I do love good fight scenes, but I don't watch anime just because of the fights.

There are fighting anime I enjoy, though I can find action to be pretty boring in most cases. I can get into a fight scene when the action is visceral and doesn't feel like it's dragging on too long.
