 Claire
Claire
Myth, fantasy, hallucination: my story has been called all these things. I know that when anda read this anda will be shocked, awed, and terrified. Just remember, my story is true, fact, and based on real events…
“Claire,” my mother yelled, practically in my ear, “We need to leave for your therapy session atau we will be late, again!” I rolled my eyes like I always do. Mother never thought much of these “stories.” She told my they were just that, just stories.
Anyway, back to my story. Well, let me start from the beginning.
“Left, Left, Left, Right, Left.” The incessant screams of my commanding officer echo in my ears.
The hari most students were dreading, I’ve been awaiting. I had a little surprise for Captain Stone.
“Maggot,” she always called. She couldn’t wait to make a mockery out of me every day. Now it was my turn, it was time for my revenge to finally break loose. I looked up, tipped my camouflage hat, and it came. Over 20 pounds of gravel, mud, dirt, and debris poured onto the Captain. When it hit her shoulders, she fell to the ground, and when it stopped, anda couldn’t see her at all. I almost thought she had dodged the goop, but then I heard it, the scream of pain.
Everyone, even William, the most serious student, gave out a huge guffawed. Yeah, revenge is sweet! “Claire!” Everyone was still laughing; I didn’t hear what she berkata until, “CLAIRE!” Captain yelled even louder. I, along with everyone else, stood at attention and quit laughing. Stone walked over to me, looked me in the eyes, and said, “You think this is funny, Maggot?” The mud and gravel had messed up her hair; her uniform was deeply stained, “Well,” I started to say, “maybe a little.”
“You are in so much trouble,” I could see the vigor in her eyes, “you will never see this school again.” YES!!! Victory is mine! “What?” I started trembling; my knees locked up, my mouth went dry, and my words slurred together, “but my parents will kill me!” Maybe I should be actress when I grow up.
This whole “getting in trouble stuff” isn’t exactly news to anyone. I guess I tried to follow the rules when I was younger, but when your mother is always hurting anda like she hurts me because you’re not the spitting image of her, anda start to think, “Why should I care?”
Military School was my idea, and Mother agreed to try it. This trial run did not go so well. “Maggot, do this. Maggot, do that.” Stone’s words echo in my ears every minit of every day. Military School was worth it because of one thing, well person. Pugh is my best friend; I cannot imagine going to this H-E- double hockey sticks called school without him here. Never thought this school would be bearable for the 5 months I was here. Wow! Never thought I’d say that.
Getting to the point, the only reason I tried to get rid of Stone was because of the one thing she couldn’t leave alone. Pugh was minding his own business, and of course, Stone goes and starts doing things I’ve never seen her do. She smiled at him, giggled softly, and kept walking past. What the heck was she doing? Of course, she was flirting with my best friend, and the guy I kind of secretly like, but that is beside the point. She just kept flirting and flirting: approaching him, touching his arms, and drawing attention to her mouth. These are all clear signs of flirting. I know I’m bad at hiding my feelings, but she was making this way to obvious.
My plan started to formulate that night. “What are anda doing, Maddie?” This familiar voice startled me, “Pugh! anda know I hate it when anda do that,” I berkata barely able to steal my breath back from the wind. “Sorry,” Pugh berkata in a sarcastic tone. “Sorry Pugh,” I berkata kind of relieved, “just formulating a plan.” “For what?” “Getting out of this school; I can’t stand it anymore. The people are rude, the leaders are stuck up, and there is no one here that understands me.” “Hello?! Your best friend is right here!” “Not including you. And that is a complement.” “So,” the evil grin on his face grew, “how can I help?”
Once the plan was written and drawn in black and white, we started to muster together supplies. “Pugh, do anda have the wheelbarrow?” I asked as they do in the movies, “Check, Captain Chaos,” he replied in a very serious tone, saluting me. “Really,” I berkata raising an eyebrow. “Oh, I’m sorry,” the sarcasm floated through the air, “Ma’am, yes, ma’am!” I couldn’t help but laugh.
Everything was in place and accounted for; her face is going to be so hysterical. “So,” Pugh sounded curious, “what’s next?” “I don’t know,” I said, “what do anda want to do?” “I have some ideas. Come on, let’s go,” “Okay,” I said, the smile on my face grew.
As he led me to his room, I was thinking of all we would do. “Sit down, make yourself comfortable!”Pugh had a mischievous look on his face. Doing as he asked, I sat down on the bed. The dusty, worn old sheets were uncomfortable, but I managed around it. Pugh came and sat down seterusnya to me. “Hey,” he was out of breath, we probably shouldn’t have run over here, we probably attracted lebih attention than necessary. “Hey,” I was out of breath, too. He looked deep into my eyes and whispered in my ear, “You are the one,” he emphasized the word you. “I’ve wanted you, not Stone. Please, Ciuman me!” I did as he asked; I kissed him. He tilted his head so we could Ciuman better, lebih intense each saat and I didn’t stop. His hot breath on my neck, my heat was racing, beating so hard I hoped he couldn’t hear it.
“Do-Do-Do. Da-Da-Da.” The old trumpet cacophony sprung me out of bed. I knew it was too good to be true.
The seterusnya thing I knew, I was at Pugh’s room. Knocking at the door, I saw Stone walking by. The normal routine was that if anda saw a higher ranking officer anda solute, so I pretended not to see, cause I would have started laughing.
