What techniques and experiences do anda think have influenced Baz Luhrmann’s iconic movie style- specifically shown in his ‘Red Curtain Trilogy?’

I think that his was largely influenced sejak his parents and his environment and experiences while growing up. Both Baz's parents did Ballroom competitions, thus growing up around the very subject matter of his first three films.
He also dabbled in the theater - on stage and working behind. He also has a passion for opera and Muzik in general.
And maybe he was inspired and influenced sejak some of his favourite films- bintang 80, 8½, War and Peace, Medium Cool and Fitzcarraldo
