I sat at my desk, staring into my teacup. I absolutely had no plans on the agenda, and the Trancy boy had been pretty quiet recently. I felt terrible. Bored, they call it.
"Master?" Sebastian inquired from the entrance of the study. "I got anda the mail. There's two things I'd like anda to see."
"Bring them over." I requested.
He smiled slightly, then carefully strode towards me, his coattails dragging behind him. "Here's the first," he said, handing me the paper.
I looked at the front page page and exclaimed. "Murder?"
"Yes. But keep reading." he said, pointing to a certain line of the article.
"Thrown into a brick wall?" I read it aloud, puzzled. "Now who on earth would do THAT?"
"I cannot pasti that, Master," Sebastian replied. "But whoever did must've had some good strength. The brick dinding shattered on impact."
"My word..." I shook my head, then changed the subject. "We'll look into that later. Now, the second-?"
Sebastian handed an envelope to me. I turned it over. There was a stamp enclosing the letter, on it the shape of a crescent moon. I opened it.
Dear Mr Phantomhive,
I shall assist in the investigation of the murder. Please come to my mansion at 9 o' clock sharp, September 18th. I have some clues that may assist you. anda will remain there until we discover who is behind it.

I looked at the return address. "Morrigan Burke...Never heard of her before. But, if they have information, I suppose we'll go."
Sebastian pondered. "Burke....I know I've heard that name before, I know it...." he seemed to snap out of a trance and look down at me. "Oh, sorry, master. I just-"
"No time." I cut him off. "It's nearly five o' clock now. If we leave now-according to the address, which is far out in the countryside- we'll arrive there at approximately nine o'clock."
He nodded. "Very well then, let's depart."
