Orihime has the deepest love and dedication to Ichigo, unlike Rukia who has no established feelings. Orihime would risk her life for Ichigo and values his thoughts and opinions. When Ichigo vnaished with the visards Rukia couldn't find him and she knows how to locate others through spiritual energies but Orihime who isn't that experniced knew where he was becuase of her connection to him. They make a sweet pair and I see Rukia more like a bossy sister and Nell as a friend!!!!

Besides,when he met rukia,he barely even knew Orihime,he just mainly got to know her better because of rukia mainly making him a soul reaper.If she didnt,he wouldnt really actually ever talk to orihime and have a normal life just seeing ghost,and hanging out with friends.Then,Grimmjow wouldnt have died,Ulquiorra wouldnt have either.So,mainly,she made him a soul reaper to save soul society,and if it wasnt for rukia,it wouldve never happened,not making the show.So,mainly of what my opinion is,that they are supposed to be together.

"Deserving" is the odd word here, and it's the reason for my decision. It's not about love, it's about who sacrificed most. On that score, I think Rukia wins. Whereas Orihime has so far only healed Ichigo and allowed herself to be taken prisoner by Aizen, Rukia literally gave up her powers for him and allowed herself to go to nearly certain death to save his life. She's just done more.

I don't agree with that at all..Ichigo would have died if it wasn't for Orihime..she loves him and would sacrifice anything for him..Rukia can frankly be a bitch and acts more like his bossy older sister...She only gave up her powers because he reminded her of Kaien..the only man she's ever loved. Rukia even forced Ichigo to apologize to Orihime after she was injured..if you ask me I think Orihime would do anything for Ichigo...even kill herself..Rukia isn't as deserving in my book...deserving in the sense

RukiaKuchiki88 that is sort of harsh...i don't like how people view her as a mary sue...Orihime has flaws but she is so cute and strange....She may be painfully shy and weak at times but she is much deeper than most of the other characters..I often get annoyed with Rukia but I like her very mcuh..just not with ichigo they are too brother and sister like to have a romantic relationship

Rukia -- the one who has a deep connection to him. She and Ichigo are the ones who understand each other the most. They communicate with their eyes all the time and they have a huge amount of trust in each other.

I wouldn't call Rukia kicking Ichigo right in the face--lifting him up--it's more like pushing him down. Either way, Rukia or Orihime is fine--Ichigo seems clueless when it comes to relationships though.

Orihime herself knows ichigo doesn't feel that way. It's completely one-sided for orihime
