"Yeah..." She wanted to keep talking. She'd planned out everything in her mind the entire ride here, but she could wait. She'd been waiting for nearly a year, an jam wouldn't change much.
The door opened, and they were greeted with an elderly woman wearing an apron.
"Yes?"
"Hi. I'm Special Agent Seeley Booth, this is Dr. Temperance Brennan. We're here about Andrew Stevenson."
"Andy..." a sad look crossed her face,"Come in, come in. I'm Andrew's mother, Lina." She wiped her hands on her apron then held her hand out and shook both of their hands before leading them into the sitting room of the house.
"Tea?"
"No thank you," berkata both Brennan and Booth at the same time. They shared a slightly awkward look, then sat down on the sofa, kerusi panjang seterusnya to each other.
The woman sat down in a chair opposite them, looking expectantly at them.
"Ms. Stevenson, we found your son's remains on the Selby bay yesterday morning. We're both very sorry for your loss." berkata Booth. The woman had tears in her eyes, but kept herself together.

"Blunt force trauma to the skull," responded Brennan.

Temperance Brennan sat in her office, searching for jawapan in x-rays and foto-foto of the body. Booth walked in and sat down opposite her in the chair in front of her desk.
"You wanted to continue the conversation from earlier."
She looked up and smiled. Even now, she couldn't help but smile when she saw him.
"Yes, how much of a something was it to you?"
"A lot. anda know, I left for you. I couldn't live with anda being upset with me. And I couldn't chance us breaking apart." His eyes twinkled, and for a moment he thought he might have actually gotten her to soften.
"Me too. That's why I made anda leave. I thought that if I let anda into my life, you'd leave when I needed anda the most. So, I guess I thought I'd beat anda to the kick."
"Bones, it's 'beat anda to the punch'. And anda can count on me. Even when I'm dead." While he was talking he had walked around her meja until we was standing seterusnya to her. She stood and looked him in the eyes.
"But what if anda are forced to betray me? What if anda really do die? What if anda break one of your promises? And then do anda think I'll just forgive anda immediately? Our relationship took time, Booth. I don't want it to have been for nothing." She looked like she was about to cry. It was almost as if she was reliving her parents flight 15 years later, except it was Booth this time. And in the back of her mind, she knew she had to give in. She had to trust him completely, because otherwise she'd miss out on the Cinta of her life. He couldn't wait forever, and she knew that.
"Booth?"
But instead of responding, he kissed her. The Ciuman he had imagined, and she had imagined, it was there. In her office. With the 'Squint Squad' looking through her office door the whole time.
