That's how i became a fan of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I saw the movie trailer, and found out it was a best-selling series. And now I'm a huge fan of the series and the movie. Soon to be movies! I can't wait to seew the second one!

If the movie doesn't seem to be about something that I'd be interested in, I'm not going to bother with either book or movie. However, if it seems like something I'd be interested in, I always try to read the book first :)
