I'm a new member, but I have been a fan since My so-called life and I belive Claire is perhaps the best actress of her generation.
I resently read about "To Gillian on her 37th birthday". Claire, who was 16 at the time, actually got drunk to practice for that role. Sh had never been drunk at that point in her life and felt she couldn't do the drunk scene justice without knowing how alcohol intoxication felt like. She she talked it over with her parents first and then let her friends get her drunk. I think this says a lot about Claire's dedication to her craft, but it is also a funny story! Does anyone know more about this "training" or have links to more information?
I have oredered the Claire Danes biography on the net and I'm looking forward to reading it. I s it a good biography?
