There’s been a lot of discrepancy of late surrounding the Disney princesses, namely Mulan and Pocahontas, whether atau not they should be princesses. I’m not here to Debat whether atau not they should be (though I think they should be). I’m here to add a couple lebih names to that list, the first one being Magara.

Hercules is the son of Zeus, who’s sort of the king of the gods, so Hercules is a prince. Shouldn’t that make Magara a princess? It’s kind of one of those fine lines, like Pocahontas, the daughter of a chief, and Mulan, the wife of a general, but I think if you’re going to count them as princesses, which Disney does, Magara should be counted as well.

The other name is Jane. Now in the human world she’s not, but in the animal world, Tarzan is the king of the apes. It’s another fine line. I don’t know about Jane. There’s a lot lebih doubt in my mind that Jane should be a princess than that Magara should, but in all fairness I thought I should bring her up.

There’s not really clear-cut criteria that a princess needs to meet other than at some point during the movie she should probably fall in love. Some situations are very cut and dry: if you’re counting Haiwan Nala’s a princess; if you’re not she’s not, and a lot of people agree that Esmeralda, Wendy, and Alice are not princesses, and the six main princesses are very clearly princesses.

The fine line sort of surrounds Mulan, Pocahontas, Magara, and Jane, two of which are Disney princesses, and some of which are lebih arguable than others.

On a completely unrelated note, I think it's unfortunate that Anastasia is not a Disney movie, because she would have made an amazing Disney princess.
