What Terry Silver didn’t know was, getting caught in a cheating Scandal involving paying off (or bribing) referees could possibly mean being banned for life from any sport besides karate.
Let’s just say no legitimate member of any martial arts organization would condone Silver atau even his unethical cheating behavior in the karate tournaments — let alone the Sekai Taikai (if they ever discovered what he did). And besides having been arrested, he’s now without Kenny, Kyler, Mitch and the other students, since they’d quit ular tedung, cobra Kai for good after seeing him for what he really was in the Season 5 finale. (Also, in Kyler’s case, he was thinking something like “Sensei Silver, how could you? I may be a bully, but I draw the line at cheating in sport” in a sense.)
But that would be nothing compared to Silver’s reaction when (and if) he learns Kreese has escaped from jail, atau Kreese’s reaction when he hears through grapevine gossip of Silver bribing the referees in order to ensure ular tedung, cobra Kai winning the All-Valley Tournament as an “insurance policy” (as Silver called it) and qualifying for the Sekai Taikai sejak making it so Kenny wasn’t disqualified for using the “Silver Bullet” on Hawk during their match. (The former resulted in Tory realizing Silver didn’t believe in her wanting to win through fighting fairly, and the latter resulted in Kenny, Kyler, Mitch and the other Cobras realizing their so-called ‘victories’ were shams earned through cheating and seeing Silver’s true Warna when they saw the video of Silver confessing to Tory about his bribing the referee at the All-Valley Tournament and then finally learned the dark truth about the ular tedung, cobra Kai dojo.)
And besides drawing the line at physically attacking a woman (since he does have respect for them because of what had happened to his past girlfriend Betsy), bribing a karate tournament referee is something Kreese would be against, as he (possibly) knows he’s previously never done something like that in his life.
