Megan was lying in the middle of the basement of the old, haunted, and supposedly abandoned Johnson house. Why? Well....

Here's what had happened earlier: Now normally, a kid wouldn't have gotten past the doorway to a haunted house (becuase, in this case, there were bowls of Kandi left on the porch and a sign that berkata "Take ONE"), but the old Johnson house had a sign that read "Candy Inside. Come in...if anda dare". Megan always took the phrase "if anda dare" as a personal challenge. When she walked in, she expected to see a meja, jadual with a bowl of Kandi and someone, most likely a teenager, dressed as some sort of monster waiting on the stairs and attempt to scare her. Instead she found the bowl of Kandi at the bahagian, atas of the stairs. Her eyes grew really wide; What if something was up there? She gulped and began made her way up the steps. "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..." she told herself. Just then, a ghost (well actually, it was a big lump of kids under a sheet wailing "Booooo!" at the same time, but she was too scared to notice) jumped in front of her. Megan shrieked, dropped her trick-or-treat bag, and ran down the stairs going, "I thought I could! I thought I could! I thought I could!!". She quickly typed "SOS" into her KN-communicator.. and failed to notice the big hole in the floor...and fell to the cold, hard basement floor waiting below. (WHEW! That was long!)


She groaned and rubbed her head as Numbuhs 3, 4, 5, and 7 ran to her aid. Kuki began bombarding her with questions. "Are anda ok?! What hurts?! How many fingers am i holding up?!!"
She coherently answered "Not really, my head, and I can't see your fingers-"
Kuki started bawling, "SHE'S BLIIIIIIIIIIIND!!!!"
Megan rolled her eyes. "I can't see them because your sleeves are covering them." Kuki blushed, embarrased. She pulled up her sleeves. "How 'bout now?"

"No! 8 fingers and 2 thumbs! SHE'S GOT BRAIN DAMAGE!!!". Kacey rolled her eyes and helped her teammate to her feet. All 5 operatives made their way out of the haunted house, and back to the treehouse.


When they got back, every one complained that they either had no luck with the trick-or-treating atau they had their Kandi stolen. Abby looked around, concerned. "Numbuh 5 hasn't heard from Numbuhs 2 and 8 all night. Where do anda think they are?"
Everyone shrugged. Kacey reached for her KN-communicator. "This is Numbuh 7 calling Numbuh 8. Where the H-E-double hockey sticks ARE you?!?".
No answer. She tried calling again. "NUMBUH 8! GET YOUR BUTT BACK TO THE TREEHOUSE! NOW!!". Just then, Kiki and Hoagie appeered behind her. "SURPRISE!" she cackled. Everyone shrieked...except for Wally. "WOW! Nice costume, Numbuh 8!", he complimented, "You've even got a pair of fake fangs in! That's a perfect effect!". Kacey stuttered, "W-w-w-ally, T-t-t-those aren't f-f-f-ake fangs..."
"Are anda kidding? There's no way Kiki could be a real vampire," he grabbed her face and tried to take the fangs out. His grip slipped and he ripped her cape. Kiki started growling and looked like she was ready to kill Wally. "K-k-k-kacey...d-d-d-do anda wanna say it, o-o-o-or s-s-should I?"
"I-I-I-I-I guess". She reached for her trusty S.P.L.A.N.K.E.R. in her back pocket. "Kids seterusnya Door, B-b-b-b-b-b-b-BATTLE STATIONS!!!!"
"That's not what I was gonna say! I was gonna say 'Run for it!'," Wally whined. He thought for a second..."Though, this IS a perfect way to get back at her for the pelangi, rainbow Monkey incident."
