About an hour-and-a-half later, Sector V and Numbuh 8 came back. A couple operatives(specifically Wally and Kiki) winced every step of the way into the treehouse. When the elevator doors opened, just about everyone's jaws dropped. Blueprints for future operations were scattered everywhere (some of them ripped), weapons were thrown everywhere (some broken), and some of Numbuh 3's pelangi, rainbow Monkeys were damaged. Kuki let out a shrill shriek of terror when she found one of her monkeys had a big hole in the belly. Everyone was seething, "NUMBUH 244 AND NUMBUH 245!!!! GET DOWN HERE NOW!!!!!!!".
Both girls walked into the mission prep room. Minerva was smirking evilly, whereas Val was giving everyone puppy-dog eyes (and even the puppy-dog pout).
"Care to explain THIS?" Kacey growled.
"Well, we ARE KND operatives..." Minerva started,
"...and we wanted to practice using the weapons. Then VAL saw the blueprints and wanted to see what the upcoming missions were. She then saw the many pelangi, rainbow Monkeys and wanted to use them as target practice-"
"I did NOT, anda little liar!," Val inturrupted, "YOU wanted to use them as target practice! I said, 'Kuki's gonna be real mad when she gets back' and anda said, 'I don't care, it's not MY stuff' and-"
Kuki tried charging towards Minerva, but Wally held her back. "When I get my hands on you, I'll-"
"ENOUGH!!!!!!!!" Kacey shouted.
Val was shaking. Whenever someone shouted at her, she knew she was in for it.
"We're all gonna have a very long talk about what your punishment should be." Hoagie stated.
Val started tearing up after the word "punishment".
The group huddled.
"These guys are a pain!," Wally started, "I say we give 'em a good-"
Val started sniffling.
Kiki frowned. "Guys, I think Val's innocent."
"WHAT?!"
"Well, if she had REALLY done it, like PLANNED all of it, she'd be totally calm like Minerva. She's terrified- well, then again, considering who her dad is, I'D be,too- but still."
Everyone heard Val crying softly.
"Kiki's right. If she DID indeed do this on purpose, she wouldn't be bawling her eyes out." Kuki added.
"You're just goin' easy on that little brat because YOU'RE afraid of what'll happen if she tells her dad!" Wally snidley commented.
Kiki stuck her tongue out at him. She walked up to the bawling girl.
"Valentina...did Minerva make anda do this?"
She nodded, sniffling.
Kiki glared at Minerva, then smiled at Val. She whispered something into her ear. Val started giggling. The giggle then turned into an evil laugh, similar to the Count's. She then charged after the smirking Minerva.
After she got her comeuppance, Kacey looked at the clock. 11 PM.
"Okay guys bedtime."
"Yeah...I guess i should be getting back to my own sector..." Kiki started making her way out the door. Then she felt something grab her leg. It was Val.
"Can I come with you?" she politley asked.
"Val, It'd be best if anda stayed here tonight..."
She started to cry again.
"Well... Kacey, there's nothing in the rules that says an operative from another sector can't spend the night at another sector's treehouse, right?"
"Nope, nothin' in the rules!"
"All right, Valentina. Grab your stuff and let's introduce anda to Sector Q"
Val squealed. "YAY! This is gonna be the best night ever!!!"
Little did Kiki know she was in for one of the longest nights ever.
