I've always loved anime, ever since I was little. One of my Kegemaran in particular is Code Geass, I watched this Anime nonstop, I would often get so Lost in the story I would forget reality for a moment. That is, till I found out the dark truth behind Lelouch and the Rebellion.
The story revolves around Lelouch, and at the beginning he was a normal, happy little prince, till his mother was killed and his little sister, Nunnally, was left blind and paralyzed.
In reality, Nunnally was killed along with Marianne, and Charles sent Lelouch away to a mental institution in Japan. Even then, little Lelouch took hits of acid to keep the memory of his beloved sister alive.
Suzaku was real, but he wasn't a soldier, he was a doctor at the hospital desperately trying to rid Lelouch of his acid addiction. Shirley, Kallen, Rivalz, and Milly were also real, they were nurses who worked at the clinic, Kallen was assigned to Lelouch in particular, that's why she had such a big part in his fantasy.
Shirley was a nurse that Lelouch liked, he accidentally killed her as she was administering some medicine. Unable to deal with the reality that he killed her, Lelouch imagined she was killed sejak Rolo, who was totally fictitious.
Lelouch's life was pure torture. He imagined himself as Zero, and imagined the Black Knights, the school, he even imagined his own world conquest to spare himself from reality.
CC was another patient at the hospital. She was the one who gave him the acid to start with. In Lelouch's mind, the acid was really his Geass, telah diberi to him sejak the green haired witch that he imagined CC to be. CC died shortly after Lelouch came around, but he kept her memory alive with the acid, atau his "Geass". When it seemed like her memory was fading, he created characters like Mao to keep her alive.
In the end, Lelouch wasn't killed sejak Suzaku masquerading as Zero atop a parade float. He was killed sejak Suzaku, but only when he completely Lost his mind, and the doctor deemed that it was unmerciful to keep such a pitiful soul alive anymore. Lelouch was killed when Suzaku gave him a lethal injection.
So that is the truth behind Code Geass. Not what anda expected? Well, either way anda look at it, it's still a brilliant story.
Sweet dreams.
