I scoff at the notion that Bonnie is a black and white thinker.

In 'Comparing Apples to Unicorns,' Diane Sylvan's brief analysis of Bonnie's naïveté challenges readers to ascribe her discomfort with certain vampires, to an inability to think and function maturely. Despite her trust in Stefan's judgment with Caroline and despite her questionable choices in dating partners, the penulis seemed adamant in painting the character as an unyielding and inflexible caricature. Naturally, as a fan, I tend to disagree.

I certainly get the point, and oh, my, did I let it out in Shadow Souls. anda are right. I didn't think anyone would like the book because it was about another dimension and the girls were slaves--my publishers tried so hard to cut that out, but I felt that Damon was lebih mature when he had a "family" to care for. With that book, I followed my hati, tengah-tengah in everything.
