After the spoilers I read and posted this morning, I'm less hopeful for Bamon on the show more then ever.

@Applepie88: I am still high on my hope for Bamon. The spoilers point out the show planned out the storylines for 5 seasons, that will include Bamon storyline as well. As kevin has clearly said before, he will not count out Bamon storyline. With all the progress of Bamon buildup from season 1 to season 2 they got, it would not make sense if they just throw it in darkness.

Aceg: I just don't know anymore. I really don't. I'm in a really dark, pessimistic state when it comes to all things Damon/Bamon on the show right now.

@shannonfin: Look for Candice Accorla on set Part 2 on youtube where she ask a question about Bamon storyline to Kevin. Kevin's respond was something like yes they have chemistry and they hate each other... I will defintely not rule out their storyline. It was filmed shortly before the season 2. But hey we got a prominent progress with Bamon now.

Because I really believe Bamon is being developed from the S1, but I imagine their maturation in their relationship will take a long time! =´(

I don't need to read or write articles about BD to convince myself or anyone that BD will happen on the show be cause It will, for sure. It only a matter of time. Sure, its kinda of hard with DE and the lack of BD scenes but at the end everything 'll be super GREAT ahaaha :D

I actually have alot of faith in show bamon and the eppy 'the last dance' boost my confidence for them even more. I know their going to happen it's just the matter of when? I personally want the relationship to occur further in the show so it won't seemed rushed or forced. Even though they don't have a lot of scenes with each other show bamon is natural so when ever they do have a scene their 'strong' chemistry makes up from the loss ones. So in the end I'm still good because I know bamon will happen!

I feel like DE is SO over played and as much excruiating agony it brings me to watch them unfold, it cant last. The relationship is too dramatic and "apocolyptic" meaning there are live or death dimensions, always. Everything in relation to DE has had negative consequences and I just feel nothing that has so much bad and evil wrapped around can't last. Especially last to become such an "epic love" as DE fans hype it up to be. I'm very optimistic now........but ask me again after new week's episode and the answer might change.

The only reason why I didn't say very hopeful is because I'm not hopeful that vampire diaries will continue to get renewed. However as long as the show is on air then I know for sure Bamon will eventually happen. It's TV history 101. They'll explore that route, because they'll have to switch it up for seasons to come. Also, with all the coverage about Bamon having chemistry from different media sites and JP continuing to say they are aware of Bamon's connection in the books, I have faith that they'll eventually go down that route just to explore that curiosity.

I dont even know anymore at this point. I'll admit 2x18 gave me more hope but I lost it by the end of the episode.

Sorry, I'm being honest. I'm Very Non-Hopeful now. I don't ship Bamon in the show, only the books. I'll still enjoy their scenes and always be a fan. ;)

i'm conflicted. part of me feels like it will happen eventually and the other part says it will never happen. either way i'm not going to stop shipping it just because it may never happen. even if bamon has the longest shot in hell of happening, i'm still gonna proclaim to the world that bonnie was the best match for damon and damon was the best match for bonnie and they should have happened and i ship bamon and if anyone doesnt like it they can go tell it to someone who cares :)

Well, I'm pretty sure I'll catch Bonnie and Damon in their skivvies within the first TWO episodes of Season 3. I'm confident their undergarments will include a sheer lingerie for Bonnie and a towel for Damon. I'm equally sure about the possibility of these two being stuck in a really tight place where there's only 2 inches of free space between them. I think these scenes and many more are in the cards for Bonnie, Damon and Damon's "special" little friend.

With the growth in the fanbase I'm pretty confident it'll happen. Ian/Kat have chem and the longer the show stays on the farther away from the triangle they'll have to move to keep it on. Since I've heard that they plan to go more in depth in Bonnie's character next season and I know Damon is apart of that because of his role in protecting her family I think they will have more scenes come season 3.

After 2.18 and 2.20 I'm really hopeful and writers can't waste that much chemistry and potential.

I'm confident that their relationship in show will grow but I can't tell if it will be happy ending one:( But still I believe in Bamon love :D
I'm waiting unpatiently for season final because I have a feeling that there will be one more Bamon scene just like in season 1 final :)

I honestly keep my hope in Bamon, but like many other fans, I do not see the couple going at any time soon (YET). I say this because, in my opinion, The Last Dance was a great episode to show the evolving relationship of these two characters, who previously could not inhabit the same saddle, without Bonnie givin an aneurysm in Damon...

I know that after the writers present us with "I will always choose you." from Damon to Elena..., but ... hello! Anyone remember of Elena talking to Damon, referring to Stefan? (It's Always Gonna Be Stefan)
My point here is ... to me, they put the sentence of Elena to Damon about Stefan, on the same level of the sentence of Damon to Elena, about Bonnie and she.

In my view, this will be served for him and Elena in the future, contradict what they said before.... I can see Damon in the future don't want to choose between them (this reminds me of Damon from the books) and for Elena with having that feeling of wanting to choose only Stefan, but without being able to be indifferent to Damon.

Anyway, we have the advantage of Julie and Kevin never dismiss Bamon, they never said no to the couple...Unlike ... both recognize the chemistry between them, and Julie said that at the moment (now) they would not connect romantically, and Kevin said the same about any near future, but they definitely not released the couple, they know about book Bamon and Julie even told about Bamon happen in the fifth book!
So for me, it kind of made it obvious that it will not happen, at least the first few seasons, since neither is in the books that way (let's ignore "after hours") XD

For many fans, this may seem silly to producers (in order to fool the fans) but I think differently, I've never seen Julie or Kevin to give false hope ... so that at the time of the first season, they were clear in saying that nothing would happen between Damon and Elena ... and now in second, with the growing popularity of Stefan and Caroline, Julie was very obvious to treat the two as friends, saying that she will explore the friendship of them ... nothing about a novel Despite the crowd of some fans ...
And she say no to Bamon? No. .. for me, this is a hint that yes, they think the couple for a future (distant) but still an existing future in TVD.
