Elenas POV
I woke up and stared at my open window, for some reason i could shut it. Not physically but, somewhere i coouldnt bring myself to do it. I shook my head and sat up in my bed, and looked around my glowing room, smiling i began to get dressed for school.
I passed Jeremmy in the hall when i was going down the stairs, he was smiling and talking to someone on the phone, i could just make out the voice of the person on the other side. Was that?
"Bye, Bonnie," Jeremy, berkata hanging up his call, i stared at him my mouth popping open, his smile faded a bit but i could still see the corners tugging up.
"Calm down, its not like that, we are just freinds," His voice fell flat, and i could tell he was sad about it, almost depressed. I plastered on a smile and shrugged my shoulders, and looked too inocent. He nodded, taking my hint, that i wont intefere, and ran down the stairs. I heard the door slamn shut on his way out. I took my time going down, feeling like i was being watch, it made me cringe, when i felt a gust of wind behind my back. I didnt bother turning, i could smell him, i could taste his scent and i fought to keep the smile from my face.
"Damon, go home," I stated picking up speed and going down the stairs, he fowled and pushed the door shut when i tried to go though it.
"What?" i asked spinning round to face him, his featuers, werent what i was expecting. He didnt have his, evil smile, atau his Damon euebrows, he looked all in all down. I stared at him worried and he saw it, and treid to smile, and failed.
"Damon? Whats the matter?" I asked, my hand instinctively rose to his foramr. His eyes held that hand for a long moment before shaking his head and opening the door.
"Nothing, im taking anda to school,"he berkata shrugging my hand off, i stared at him wordlessly.
"I dont need a babysitter, Damon. Especially not you,' i berkata walking down my porch steps. But a few strides away from Damon he grabbed my wrist, and spun me round to fsce him.
"Im taking you, then Stefan will meet anda there, we cant let anda walk around yourself, Elena, anybaody could be waiting for you," he berkata tugging me closer to him, his eyes were like magnets the deeper i looked into them, the lebih i found my self falling towards them. I could now feel the heat radiating from his body, and i wanted to lean closer to him, but he let go of my hand and walked towards his car.
Wheres Stefan?" i asked when i was sitting in the car, he already had the enine on, and i strained over the noise to hear his reply.
"Playing with his woodland freinds." he mumbled and drove me to school.
Damons POV
I glanced in her direction every now and then, for any hint of her remembering my confession. I couldnt help feeling disapointment when there was none. i pulle over near the school, but close enough that i could see Stefan waiting, his somber eyes staring at the two of us. My unbeating hati, tengah-tengah throbbed when her hand squezed mine.
"Thank you, for worrying, but Damon ill be fine," and she was gone. I watched as she smiled when she was near Staafan, and guilt corsed though my body, with a mixture of relief. Relief that she wasnt touching him, and guilt that i felt relief.
I pulled away from the side of the road and drove back to the coarding house, i walkd trough the door and head straight for the whiskey, i didnt bother taing a glass and drank from the bottle, i gasped when i finally pullled it back from my lips.
"Damon," Rose stated grabbing a glass from the shel and indicting for me to pour her a drink. I bowed, sarcasticslly and poured her a generous amount of the liquir.
"So, how do i find Klaus?" i asked taking another swig, i heard her cough into her glasS, AND I TURNED TO FACE HER TO tunjuk I WAS ERIOUS.
"You dont find Klause, he finds you." she berkata sitting her, now empty, glass down on the meja, jadual sejak my side, and in doing so she brought her self closer to me, there was no thought in it, no feeling just want, i grabbed her neck, puliing her whole body into mine, and pushed my lips down on hers. I heard her laugh, and she tried to pulll away, but i kissed her again............
