In this article, I am going to debunk various arguments made sejak Dollhouse staff during the series to defend their work and claim that its nature is philanthropic.

The first defence is that Dollhouse engagements give their clients "what they need". However, in the majority of cases, a lebih accurate huraian would be "what they want" atau "what they desire" rather than "what they need". Its themes are dressed in a science-fiction setting and the Dollhouse itself is beautified with its exclusive spa décor, but the show’s themes are as prominent as they are in the movie Taken.
