I ran to Kowalski, falling to my knees and looking down at Kowalski. He was not moving at all, but there was no blood which confused me a little. But scratch marks can be seen, on the eyes and a nasty big hole in his chest. I look closely at his heart, it looks like it`s almost ripped off. I hold out my flipper with my white claws out and carefully hold the artery together. I focus my eyes on the tips of my claws and they start glowing a very light brown color, almost white. "Come on, come on...!" saat went sejak and I was starting to worry it was too late. I looked around, thinking it myself. "Wait a minute, it IS just me and Kowalski and- Oh, whatever!" I bent downwards and poke my beak in quickly, but carefully lick the artery until there together. Less than a minit went sejak and I just finished the last artery. Then I carefully poke Kowalski`s hati, tengah-tengah with my pointer and dew claws and a light blue electricity comes out and into the heart. I quickly alih my claws away just in case he flinches, but he didn`t move. "Come on Kowalski, breath..." I`ve stared at Kowalski for a few lebih seconds, but he still did not move. I felt my hati, tengah-tengah ripped apart as I still stare at Kowalski. I rest my head on Kowalski, just below where he got cut open and I close my eyes, feeling tears running down my cheeks.

But then I felt movement like my head was moving up and down. I lift my head up and looked at Kowalski. "Kowalski?" I laid my flipper on the side of his head. He started moaning and alih his head side to side, but does not open his eyes. Then he moves his flipper and touch my flipper, then his flipper starts shaking. "Easy Kowalski, it`s just me. Kait..." I gently held his flipper and it stopped shaking.

"K- Kait...?" He spoke weakly, but continue. "What happen...? I can`t see a thing..."

"It was my fault.... I couldn`t control myself, that white serigala, wolf was fast.... She... she`s planning on killing Black! Then me...." I stared off in the distant, thinking about how helplessly Black was.

"A white wolf? And what do anda mean, couldn`t control yourself...?" I looked back down at him, thinking of how to explain without getting him mad. But nothing would make sense if I lied, then I spoke calmly.

"I uh, ran into that white serigala, wolf and she berkata things that gets into my nerves and I.... sort of attacked her...." Just as I finished, Kowalski looked a little mad.

"And you`ve tried to kill me?"

"No! I would never try to kill you! I just..... keep forgetting that I`m not myself..." I let my head hang down, feeling guilty for Kowalski to think that. Then I quietly spoke again. "At least your alive...." I looked at Kowalski again and he seemed less mad. Then I carefully lay myself seterusnya to Kowalski, something just popped out of my head. "Do anda feel an pain atau anything?" I felt his flipper touch my back, stroking my feathers.

"No.... I feel lebih numb than pain... And Kait? Will I never see again....?" I started to remember that white serigala, wolf clawed in his eyes. I think for a moment, then I thought of something.

"Well, I can fix that, but it won`t be pretty.... But I just need to relax before doing it atau I`ll make it worse." I let myself rest my head on his chest, being careful not to let my head go lower. Then I see Kowalski`s other flipper lifted up and moves to me and touched my beak. His flipper flinched and slowly goes lower, resting on my neck.

"What about you, Kait? What if you`ll never come back...?" His voice was full of worry. At first thought of it, I started to shiver and hugged Kowalski.

"I don`t really know.... I`m sure I`ll make it, but.... I`ve liked my life more, my Friends were always with me til the end and my family.... I wouldn`t ask for a better family and I wouldn`t let anything happen to them, like what happened to my other family....." That same old image of the exploding gas station came into my head, flames of api, kebakaran spreading out. I hugged Kowalski tighter, speaking again. "I hate the feeling of living things gets burned alive, but it`s very useful when fighting.... I only use it if I have to...."

"Maybe that`s why anda have api, kebakaran power..." I loosen my flippers, wondering what he mean. Then he continues. "You care about living things and people, right?" I nod my head up and down, letting him know what I berkata 'Yes'. "Then maybe that`s why that some one atau some thing gave anda that power, to protect..."

I lift my head up with confusion.
"But who did gave me that power? It can`t be my old parents.... Can it?"

"Maybe, who knows? It could be someone else atau anda may never know."
