I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Which Game of Thrones actors were snubbed sejak the Emmys?
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
The 2016 Emmy nominations were announced yesterday, and it’s difficult for
fans to complain too much. After all, the show led the field with 23 nominations, and was represented in categories as distinct as writing, directing, costumes, casting, and acting, not to mention a nod for Best Drama. The show did very well.
Even so, there are people who work on the show, both in front of and behind the camera, who I think should’ve been given a nod. Here’s our collection of the
cast and crew members who were snubbed at this year’s Emmys.

Dan Selcke is so “right-on with this review that HE ought to receive an Emmy for it!
Okay so Emilia gets nominated every damn year while
amazing actors like Alfie, Liam and Stephen just to name
a few, haven’t been nominated even once..
They should let me do the nominations, apparently I know more
about acting than the people who do them now..
The biggest snub was definitely Ramin Djawati, I figured him to be the one site bet to not only be nominated but win. And yes Alfie gets snubbed every season, such a shame.
Djawadi wasn’t nominated?! What the what? That’s absurd. Like, completely unjustifiable. Academy voters cannot possibly have listened to his score if they failed to nominate him.
Agreed that Turner should have been nominated instead of Clarke.
The biggest snub for me was Jonathan Pryce. I loved every scene he was in, and I actually found myself rooting for the High Sparrow. However, if he were to be nominated, it would be as best supporting actor. He was a member of the main cast, after all, and had too much screen time to qualify for best guest actor.
Liam Cunningham had maybe his greatest year on the show, he should have been nominated, Sophie turner as well. I would have switched out Peter and Emilia who just didn’t have a meaty plot line this season. Liam was solid and transforming for many episodes.
HEAR HEAR… Agreed on all counts! Except Theon.
Sansa still has a lot to learn and I still think she makes awful decisions/ mistakes at times on the show, but Sophie Turner gets better and better in that role each season. She deserved this over just about every other actress this season on GOT except perhaps Lena Headey who is just amazing. Emilia is okay as Dany, you can’t blame her for the corny-conqueror scenes that D&D write up for her. I think of that awful movie ‘Alexander’ during most of her scenes this season, just fast forward material really. Maisie is always a force, but this season had her getting whacked with a stick. For me her story is also tainted by how poorly the Braavos plot concluded but she was wonderful with what she was given.
Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) was also a victim of bad writing this season, and I feel like his nomination is simply to appease because he was nowhere near as special this season as in seasons 1-5. If he wins, he may as well take the podium and finish the ‘honeycomb and a jackass’ joke to give everyone a taste of how laughable some of his scenes were this season. Agreed with Dan that this was not Theon’s best season, however he was still great. If anyone I would have liked to see Jaime get the nod for best actor this season he did a hell of a job with what he was given especially during his time in Riverrun.
Jonathan Pryce not getting a nomination is more tragic than a snub.
I can’t say much about Lady Mormont of Ramin as I don’t know who they’re up against, but one thing I can say is that I will always remember the roles these two played in the series– I think that says a lot about Bella Ramsey. Ramon is already a legend with that theme song, and the other compositions are brilliant and fit the show and each house perfectly.
Iwan should have definately been nominated for the Emmy. I would so far as to say that his acting was better than Kit’s.
Agreed, I’m a huge Jon Snow fan and all, but Iwan’s Ramsay will never go away from us.
His steely eyes and detached emotions in BOB worked wonderfully.
Disgusting that Ramin hasn’t been nominated.
I really thought Alfie Allen would finally get a nomination but he’s overlooked again (he was better than both Kit and Peter this season) and this was Sophie’s best season
Sophie deserves a nomination much more than Maisie Williams, at least in this season, not to mention the terribly overrated Emilia Clarke who was miscast from the beginning and is sometimes pitiful to watch. But Lena Headey is totally deserved a nominee, as is Kit Harington, both should win their Emmys for this season. Yes, Alfie Allen should be a nominee too. Don`t agree with Jonathan Price, his character was rather boring and predictable, Bella Ramsey was great, but her role was way too small, maybe next season?
The composer should be running for an Emmy, too, his score was fantastic.
I am surprised that Peter was nominated this year. His character did;t do much this season. I thought Turner was better than Clarke as well. However, I thought Kit did a great job this season. He certainly wins most improved.
I agree with Jawadi not being nominated as a snub. Don’t understand that.
The shear amount of storylines make it very hard for any one actor to really shine as you only get snippets form each. I don’t have a problem with the others not making the list but IF there were an Emmy for the ensemble, GOT would be a cinch to win it.
and the fact that the music composer was not nominated is down right criminal.
I’m still in disbelief that Alfie Allen wasn’t nominated for the time he spent portraying Reek. He couldn’t possibly have done a better job representing Ramsey’s broken human-pet.
As for Turner, I don’t feel she was snubbed. I just think she’s a good actor, honestly. It was an improvement over the first 5 seasons but still not great. Just my opinion though
Sorry, but every time Bella Ramsay was on I thought I was back watching Harry Potter.
I don’t think Jonathan Pryce was going for “guest” but for “supporting” role. It depends on how much screen time they have, not how long they’ve been on the series. He was much more present than 3-eyed raven or than Olenna.
Definitely Alfie Allen. How do you not recognize an actor that made you feel fear when about to lose his penis, pity when he gave in and finally said “Reek. My name is Reek.” Hope, when he rescued Sansa, and pride, when he drank that glass of ale and let Reek go. Theon wasn’t my favorite character, however, Alfie Allen does an excellent job of portraying this tragic character on a show full of so many wonderful and tragically fated characters.
