CHRISTOPHER has always been my favorite, but they had to keep Lorelai single, because that was the whole premise of the show, a single mom and her relationship with her daughter; plus it added drama to have Lorelai always getting jilted, cosmically usually (pregnant girlfriend for Chris when they were reconnecting at Sookie's wedding, Luke ending up with a daughter just before she is supposed to marry him, for example) for Chris and Luke - the two she ever really LOVED, and as for the others - Jason was sleazy, never liked him, SHE never really LOVED Max, she loved the idea of him and wanted to, but never REALLY did, and Alex kind of just disappeared... I vote Christopher all the way, I like Luke, but...
