No, Mark did not get fired! He's taking a 2 episode break to finish recording his newest album! He won't be there next episode either, but he's back after that!

Question: Where is Mark Salling? Is he gone permanently? Is it due to his release of a non-Glee album? You have to know something about this, right?! —Missy
Ausiello: Puck up, Missy! Though I dunno whether his absence is a side effect of his decision work on music that isn’t in the genre of R&Glee, I do know that it’s only temporary. He’ll miss one more episode—the Oct. 26 Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute—but will be back on air in a big way in early November.

Ok, good... Because I read that his music outside of Glee was a contract breaker. But since I don't know what is in his contract I'm going to believe this unless a statement is issued.

Both but I missed Puck and I wanted to either see him jealous of Sam&Quinn or sing the duet with Quinn.

Yeah I guess a Puck&Rachel duet would have been awesome but let's face it that wasn't gonna happen.
