Darkstripe and Krestelheart just stared at the she-cat. The intruder rose. "Who goes there?" it said, not directing her words to anything in particular.
Krestelheart gulped and the two Grassclan Kucing stepped out from the long rumput into the clearing in the shade of a pokok where the cat was waiting.
"Ah..." the she-cat hissed. "Clan cats." she spat. "I could tell you'd be out looking for me soon."
"Who are you?" hissed Darkstripe, flattening his ears.
"Your worst nightmare." replied the ginger cat. "I am Daisy." then she narrowed her eyes. "I used to belong to a Clan. My mother used to be a kittypet, so called me daisy instead of a proper kit name. I had two sisters. They had proper names, Dewkit and Gingerkit. Dewkit died soon after. Everyone wanted me to be called Daisykit, especially when my mother died. But sejak then I was old enough to say no. Soon I was kicked out. Cos I had no respect for the warrior code atau StarClan. And I still don't." she hissed.
"What Clan?" asked Krestelheart nervously.
"Rainclan." berkata daisy with complete disgust.
"Why have anda been killing our cats?" hissed Darkstripe full of hatred.
"Because." she snapped. "My ex-Clan have the territory seterusnya to your's. I need to wipe out your entire Clan. One at a time. And maybe fate's been kind to me. I might be able to get two lives now." she smirked.
"Not on my watch." Darkstripe hissed back.
Back at camp, Brackenfoot and Flowerpaw had just taken Rosepaw's body back. Tigerstripe stood over it with Waterlily. "I'm sorry." he muttered.
"It's not your fault." replied Waterlily.
"We need help." Brackenfoot stepped in. Darkstripe and Krestelheart...they need help."
Tigerstripe nodded. "Vinepelt, Brownfur, Poolfur and Nightripple. anda go." he berkata plainly and the four Kucing he had named left. Brackenfoot looked at Tigerstripe who nodded.
"Thanks." he nodded his appreciation, and he left to.
As the five Grassclan Kucing burst into the clearing with Brackenfoot leading them, they met the devastated clearing. Blood and bulu everywhere. A single body...Krestelheart. Brackenfoot moved slowly up to the cat. "She's alive!" he announced. The body was still, but it wasn't over yet for the she-cat. "Krestelheart. Where's Darkstripe?" asked Brackenfoot. How could he have left his Clan mates like that?
"I don't know." she admitted. "We found who's been killing our cats. A she-cat. An ex-RainClan member...Daisy. Darkstripe's fighting her now."
Vinepelt and Poolfur bounded away and Brownfur followed close behind.
"Brownfur!" Brackenfoot called after the tom. He looked back. "You and Nightripple can help Krestelheart back to camp. She needs to see Waterlily." then Brackenfoot followed Vinepelt and Poolfur into the bushes.
He was shocked with what he saw...more blood and fur, he was shocked to see if anyone had any left. Darkstripe was panting on the ground and he was cowering under a huge ginger she-cat: he guessed it was Daisy. She still hadn't seen them.
Vinepelt jumped on Daisy, knocking her off Darkstripe, and Poolfur started to fight sejak Vinepelt's side. Brackenfoot watched, shocked. What was this cat doing to their Clan? Brackenfoot headed over to Darkstripe. "Are anda okay?" he asked.
"I'm a bit tired...and sore." admitted Darkstripe, his words coming out in gasps. "She put up a hard fight."
"You'd better get back to camp." berkata Brackenfoot, trying to get Darkstripe to head back. But he shook his head.
"I won't rest till this THING is killed." he hissed and threw himself into the tussle. Brackenfoot had to admire the tom's determination.
Just then, Tigerstripe and Leopardbreeze came into the area.
"What's going on?" asked Tigerstripe.
"They're killing the culprit." Brackenfoot hissed.
Tigerstripe and Leopardbreeze both stepped ke hadapan and pulled their warriors off.
"What's the deal?" hissed Darkstripe.
"Crowstar's orders." replied Tigerstripe. "We must bring it back as a prisoner."
Later, the Grassclan Kucing returned to camp with Daisy. As soon as the Kucing entered camp, Crowstar jumped up to bahagian, atas of the Fallen Oak. "All Kucing of Grassclan gather beneath the Fallen Oak for a Clan meeting!" she called. When the Kucing were gathered, she began to speak. "We have captured the culprit. This is Daisy." she flicked her tail towards the prisoner. "She is responsible for the deaths of Mousefur, Skyfern and Rosepaw and the severe injuries of Krestelheart. We will keep her here as a prisoner. She will sleep in Waterlily's den, and be guarded sejak two warriors. It will only be for a few days, before we found out HOW to kill her. Not IF, HOW!"
