Why cant Vampires just use sunscreen?

Because those are faries not vampires.

Because sunscreen does not stop the sun from touching you. Just like how anda can get a sunburn while wearing sunscreen, a vampire (whether he glitters atau burns) would still be effected sejak the sunlight shining down on him.

Because they're cocky, pretentious a-holes. Duh.

Of course they can`t!
anda see, Vampires sparkle only in direct sunlight (*ignoring the fact that our atmosphere and magnetic field of the Earth stop most of the sunrays, so we are never on "direct sunlight" anyway - if we would be, we would all burn, not just (old-fashioned) vampires*), so shadow, clauds, atau clothes can stop the sunrays. But sunscreen can`t because, anda see, Vampires can`t change and...um, anda need to change to use sunscreen and...em, Meyer said......


I have no idea.

It was because Meyer wanted uber special Vampires and thus took away every single weakness that they have. This comes from the fact that I can't possibly believe that Meyer wasn't in the slightest familiar with vampire legends before she started writing. She takes too much from other Vampire authors to be funny. But anyways, she figured cutting their weaknesses was a good thing, but that is just poor writing.
