Is it just me atau is it really that everytime I type "reasons Harry Potter sucks" on the internet. the "reasons" are completely stupid such as "He wears glasses.

Meh, most reasons are heavily opinionated, anyway. Ex. "It's too boring". That reason is an opinion, not a fact. If someone said, "trees are ugly", it does not mean its pure fact. A pure fact would be: Coniferous trees generally produce cones. It is not a personal preference; it is true knowledge that has been proven.

Your personal preference on something does not make it true. Because every human personality is so diverse, it's impossible for "harry potter is too boring" to be a fact, because someone out there in the world will have a different opinion than you, therefore disproving your "fact". That's why opinionated jawapan don't mean anything.

Some could argue that Jo should have used a different Penulisan style to 'captivate lebih readers' - but even that would not work, because the Penulisan style obviously captivates readers just fine. Your personal preference on the Penulisan style is just your opinion - it doesn’t mean there's anything wrong with the Penulisan style, apart from the fact that anda don't like it. The same could also be berkata for Twilight's Penulisan style. Some could say Twilight's Penulisan style should have been written differently to attract lebih readers - but obviously, the Penulisan style is doing just fine on its own. Why are there so many Twilighters on Fanpop? They LIKE the Penulisan style. Just because the Penulisan style doesn't attract to someone doesn't make it one of Twilight's flaws. Opinionated jawapan go both ways.

Alright, getting the whole opinion thing out of the way, I do see some valid points on why some don't like Harry Potter, aside from personal preference. When I clicked on one of cassie-1-2-3's links, I read that some don't like it because some plot twists were obvious. The example used was Regulus Black: it was obvious who R.A.B. was straight-away. What I can say to that is, I had NO idea who R.A.B. was until it was revealed to be Regulus in the Deathly Hallows. The argument there can be traced back to how well they noticed the subtlety. I, personally, don't make the connections until the book has to flat-out say it, so I was always surprised when the plot twist came. To be honest, I'm almost completely non-observant to that kind of thing. I'm so absorbed in the single current scene I'm Membaca that I forget the subtle details JKR planted 3 chapters ago. It just depends on how well anda take in an event in a story the first time.

This is why disliking ANYTHING is deeper than just saying "it's waaaay too boring" atau "he wears glasses". Those reasons? Shallow. The reasons I listed above? All personal preference atau how someone perceives something the first time around. I know this is a long rant, but everything about liking a book literally depends on even the smallest details about the person that we may not even know about. Most reasons people senarai can be very shallow, but there are some who simply dislike it for valid reasons, they just don't senarai them.

Here is what i think.
These People waste there life Penulisan any reason to hate any of these books, becasue they dont have any solid reasons atau good poiunts. If anda wanna make ur opinion clear, do it right. These arent "reasons" (good idea with the quotes) there just Rawak ways to say "i dont like it, cuz its better" harry potter IS the best seller, and ppl may like twilight, not a bad thing. But i was Membaca this magazine with reasons why hp is better the twi, and they were SOLDID reasons. Like, did u know that steph meyer only continued twilight cuz it was a best seller aka money maker, she never had it planned out. JKR did.
And one reason was that HP teaches us things, like friendship and Cinta is something to die for,life is worth living, being grateful, life isnt perfect. But twilight tells us nothing. Its all love, but Cinta stories evenn have a moral...can antyone tell me twilights moral? Nope.
So if anyone does have reasons agaisnt HP, your free to say them...But they should be REASONS, and then no one will rebell against u. Im sure HP isnt the perfect book for everyone, buty they've got to have reason to it, other wise its just stupid to hate something "just like that". Im Sure anda all agree with me, and this goes for everything, noit just books.

I hate that too! I think the only good reason why someone would not like HP is because Harry always has someone saving him when he's in danger (that's pretty much the point though)

I've noticed that too. I've also noticed that, on the rare occasion there's a non-shallow reason, it's often about something that was explained in one of the buku they didn't read. For example "Harry always goes back to the Dursley's!" If they had read all the books, they'd know why this is.

It's irritating. I like debating, but I can't Debat with those reasons >.<

I can accept the fact a person just doesn't like it. And sometimes anda cant put a finger on what it is. It has happened to me. But when they try pulling off stupid reasons it gets me upset. And when "it confuses me"? Oh well anda poor thing, we wouldn't want anda to be confused now would we?Here, read something simple and I'll bring anda a slice of Chocolate cake and explain to anda the definition of chagrin after. Do anda want your fork emas atau silver?

Because seriously, even some peminat-peminat have been confused at some point. When Fred... anda know... Well, when that happened I had to get my mom to re-read how that'd happened, because it was so fast. My mom read me the books, and she always read only a chapter atau so at a time to give me time to digest what'd happened, whether I needed to atau not. It's a complicated book, anda really need to think and that's one of the beauties of it. The people Membaca Twilight are used to simplicity in plots and such.

And shallowness... Truthfully, I've come to not be surprised when a Twihard defends Twiling. I've seen too many jawapan on the spot that say "Edward becuz h iz HAWT" to not see it coming. I dont expect it, but it never surprises me, but I have a few members on my senarai of "will make me cry if their best for-Twilight argument is Edward is hawt".

And there are reasons for people to dislike HP. If they dont like the PoV for example. And there's always the "it promotes the devil" thing people are going on about *personally rolls eyes*.

There is just not any valid points to hate HP I quess . :D
