WHY ARE THERE SO MANY TWILIGHT HATERS ON THIS WEBSITE?

Most of the hate against Twilight has died down. Occasionally we'll get the overzealous user, but you'll get that in every fandom, not just Twilight (*coughs*pointsataquestion*coughs*). Many of the users here respect the fact that not everyone enjoys the same book series and acknowledge the fact that anda can be a peminat of both and anda can be a peminat of neither. There's even HP peminat-peminat that defend Twilight! *raises hand* I actually do it a lot.

Please don't break the anugerah lock button. Not only did that tiny inanimate object not do anything to deserve such a hideous attack, but it just makes anda look immature. And hypocritical, as it comes across as anda attacking the HP peminat-peminat for attacking Twilight.

As anda berkata on Alex's comment: It's a free country. People can dislike a book series if they want to.

I'm a huge chicken peminat and I'm tired of everyone in this world attacking that chicken.I dislike everyone who is a itik peminat who assumes that anda can't be a peminat of ducks AND chickens who menyeberang, cross the roads. I'm a peminat of both. But to be honest, all anda road-crossing chicken haters are making me hate ducks.



On a serious note, this is a Debat spot, and the first thing anda do is pick a side. Most people here defend and criticize both books, despite being on the HP/Twilight side. I've seen artikel-artikel that "make fun of" HP, despite the nama pengguna being something like "Hpisthebest" and I've seen Twilight parodies sejak Twilight fans. THere are also HP parodies sejak Twilight peminat-peminat and Twilight parodies sejak HP fans. There are pro- and anti- Debat artikel-artikel all over this site, and few people go insane over them.

What I'm trying to say is, we get along rather amicably, thank anda very much. Someone may occasionaly mistake a silly remark for an attack, but other than that...hey, what's that sound?

Yes, trolls are the real problem here. These are the people who go around firing insults in spelling that could be a lot better. A person with bad spelling alone is not a "troll" unless they are also mean and gregarious. Many trolls (for some odd reason) belong to the Twilight side. The victims of the troll-ish users then dissect what they say, pointing out what's wrong with their reasons/insults. Since many are on the Twilight side (not saying HP doesn't have any) it may seem like everyone is attacking Twilight users.



Another thing (not trying to be mean) but anda are jumping to conclusions. So, some peminat-peminat hate Twilight. That doesn't mean that everyone does. It doesn't mean they're all on the HP side, either. For some reason, admitting you're pro-HP immediately makes a few people think you're anti-T and saying you're pro-T makes anda anti-HP.

I don't really understand. I sympathized with Bella a few times during Twilight, I laughed at some of the jokes. I liked Carlisle, Alice, and Esme. But I don't think its better than HP.

Even though I don't, it doesn't mean I don't like it.



I'm not saying that anda are a bad user for supposing this, either. A lot of people make mistakes. Just look back at artikel-artikel that people have written and things people have said. You'll see some HP peminat-peminat defending Twilight, and Twilight peminat-peminat defending HP. We get along well, until there's a misunderstanding.

I know how anda feel I am a peminat of both. People can't respect that anda can be a peminat of both and have an apprreciation for both story line.

It's not that bad. Stick around and observe a little lebih and you'll see differently.
A lot of people here don't like Twilight, and my theory on this is because people who severely dislike do Google searches on "Twilight sucks", "Twilight is horrible", "Edward is abusive", "Bella is a ____", "Stephenie Meyer is stupid", "Harry Potter is better than Twilight.", "How is Twilight possibly better that Harry Potter".
Do a Google cari on those topics and you're likely to get some Fanpop results, some linking to this very spot. People see all the negativity, because they were looking for negativity, and decide to sertai and add to it with even lebih negative negativity. Sometimes they're put in their place, but sometimes they're also ignored, atau praised. It depends on how they do it.

People looking for posetive Twilight things will get sent to livejournal atau the Twilight spot. People looking for Harry Potter negativity will find Twilight negativity in this Harry Potter associated spot.

I'm pretty sure it's recognozed that anda can be a peminat of both, but many of those people don't participate here because they're forced to pick one over the other, and that's usually not very fun.

It's a vicious cycle, the lebih the Twilight haters post, the lebih Twilight peminat-peminat lash back causing the Harry Potter peminat-peminat to lash out resulting in Harry Potter haters popping up. Just be up front about it when anda think someone's hating on it, they might be one of those irrational haters that pop up, atau they might have just been careless. lebih often then not if someone's just being a irrational hater everyone will back anda up if anda call them out on it. But don't let others dictate how anda feel about Harry Potter atau Twilight.

okay first of all this is a Debat spot if anda didn't want people disagreeing with anda about your Cinta of twilight then this is probably not the best spot for you.
I honestly don't have anything against twilight definitly not my taste but thats just me however its the twihards that turned me off of it i mean there are some that post in every single spot here weather atau not it has to do with twilight at all i mean its great that your passionate about a book/movie but twilight has thousands of spots why not post there with others who share a common interest. and that in itself isn't what really bothers me. what bothers me is the fact that when they do post in spots not dedicated to twilight and someone says they don't like twilight they get really mad and defensive hello not everyone on this earth likes twilight and there is nothing wrong with that. Also alot (not all) twihards fail to come up with a better reason for loving twilight then "EDWARD CULLEN IS SOOO HOT atau JACOB BLACK IS SOOO SEXY" i mean what a great reason to Cinta a movie/book.

Secondly, You're generalizing people, not everyone here believes Harry Potter peminat-peminat hate Twilight there are many idviduals here that like both. Why are there so many Twilight haters and no Harry Pottet haters? The answer is simple there arnab Twilight Kekasih such as youknowit and Cassie-1-2-3 and not many Twilight peminat-peminat come here to support their series. Nit everyone here attacks Twilight I have on mulitupul occasions defended the series. Not to mention we post funny pictures about both series.

It's not as bad as before, and I've only been here since November last year. It seems (in my opinion), there are lebih HP peminat-peminat attacking other HP things (and they call themselves 'fans'). Siriusly, the hate towards things like Drarry is worse than the hate towards Twilight as a whole.

well, if u mean this website as a whole like fanpop, then maybe anda might wanna post this qn somewhere else, like on the twilight site where there are a lot of twilight peminat-peminat and right now is the site with teh most fans, so anda cant say that they are a lot, it even beat out HP(which i'm mad about. and also i hate twilight. yeah sorry but i really do, it lebih of the Filem than the book but then the Filem destroyed the buku for me so lets throw in the buku too)
if anda are talking about this site, then maybe it could be true but it been a while since someone has gone all out and telah diposkan nasty things in capital letters on the wall. i can say for everyone why they hate twilight but i do because, i think this whole movie franchise is so disappointing. to be honest, i'm tired of this HP is better! no hp sucks, twilight is way better (and back and forth) i'm sure there are ppl who take both sides but it somewhat rare. i probably am a little baised, because HP is something i grew up with and it means quite a bit to me. but i feel that all this twilight Filem are overrated. ppl seem to be lebih interested with the fact taht robert patterson is taylor lautnter are so hot and supporting whose side. further more, most ppl who watch it claim it good when it actual fact, it not, i have to admit i have watch all of them and while it has gotten better, i still really dun like. i could be partially because, i dun really like romance kind of stuff and hp is lebih action packed. back to the point, i'm not sure what u exactly mean sejak so many twilight haters in this site atau Fanpop it self but if u mean Fanpop go to the twlight site, it has the most peminat-peminat lebih than hp i might add. if u mean this site, i dun really see what u mean sejak a lot, they also constant debates going on which is better, so yeah. taht all i have to say.

Yes, we hate Twilight. That has been established since like, a tahun ago. But seriously, there are lebih important things to get on with.

I think its the hype.The actors in Twilight have constantly danced around in the spotlight alongside grand propaganda where as HP stars tend to keep away from the media.Similar observation to the peminat-peminat

We all are entitled to our opinions. Some people Cinta Twilight and some people dont. It depends on how anda see the whole matter. If anda go on Google and type "Reasons why Harry Potter Is better than Twilight", "Bella is a Mary-Sue", "Twilight sucks" etc, it is entirely plausible that you'll get a bucket-load of pages filled with Twilight Haters...so not much anda can do right?

I'm a die-hard peminat of Harry Potter and I don't really care that much about Twilight...just saying.

Anyways, so as to WHY there are Twilight haters, its because they don't like it too much. Maybe anda can go check out '1000 reasons why Harry Potter is better than Twilight'...it'll give anda a better picture.

I'm neutral. There are both reasons that make Harry Potter and Twilight bad and good. Why many Twilight Haters?? Maybe because of this: TWILIGHT is the only(maybe) movie that has made RIVALRY with H.P. H.P. peminat-peminat can't accept the fact that There is a lebih beautiful movie than their Harry Darling Potter. :) no offense, H.P. fanatics!!!

To be honest, I agree with you. Though I don't really like Twilight, there is no need to constantly put it down.
