What do anda think about Hedwig's death in the Deathly Hallows?

I thought it was pretty bad that the Hedwig had to die but her death is meant to symbolise Harry's loss of innocence as he came of age

I wasn't happy about it - not at all - but I think it was a necessary thing. Like what Kadaj berkata about it symbolizing Harry's loss of innocence. It also was used to tunjuk that good people, people that Harry cared about - not just Dumbledore and Sirius - WERE going to die in the war. Bad things were going to happen to good people.

I didn't like it at all ... I cried when I read that because I like loved Hedwig as much as Harry did ... but yeah I agree with the others.
Still really sad though :'(

I was sad when Hedwig died, she was my kegemaran owl ever.

I thought that the death of Hedwig was extremely sad. I remember I had to keep rereading the part where she died to believe it. I thought that the Deathly Hallows book was very sad. Everyone was dying. :(

Ahhhh!! Don't remind me!!! DX Hedwig's death was so sad! I do agree about the loss of Harry's innocence and all though.

Well... what the others said. But also - don't hate me for saying this, I don't like it either - I also think she was kinda in the way :S

I was like "OMGZ, NO, NOT HEDWIG!" for about 30 seconds. Then I was like "meh, actually, what has the bird done except make noise and send letters? If JK Rowling wants to mutilate it, fine sejak me. She is the multimillionaire penulis here. I think she may now slightly lebih about how to maintain a good plot."

i was devastated, nearly cried but it was necessary :( though there has been talk that hedwig isnt going to be killed off in the movie
