When did Lily and James outsmart, atau cheat, Voldemort?

The times Lily and James defied Voldemort as described in the Harry Potter books:

1. They defied him sejak joining Dumbledore and thus, the revolution against Voldemort's reign.

2. When Voldemort was on his quest to kill Harry they defied him sejak going into hiding.

3. The night Voldemort tried to kill Harry they defied him sejak choosing to stand between Voldemort and Harry, rather dying than handing Harry to Voldemort.

I imagine there have been many lebih times Lily and James defied the Dark Lord during their time as members of the Order of the Phoenix. We can actually never be certain whether above defiances were the ones meant in the prophecy.

When the curse backfired on Harry I believe. Instead of it killing him, as it should have, it backfired and destroyed Voldemort's body.

Well, I'm not sure every time they defied them is named but Lily, James, Frank and Alice were all members of the Order of the Phoenix so it's obvious that just that act constitutes one defiance and I'm sure there were others during their membership in the order.

i'm pretty sure we were never told the three times...you might wanna try the lexicon...and i don't think it means Voldemort directly, but rather one of his Death Eaters

They put a spell on their house so voldemort wouldn't know that it was theirs.The only reason he found them was because wormtail, the secret keeper, told him.

voldemort had forgotten about a most powerful magic, love. when lily and james gave their life, they new that Voldemort could not touch him. They outsmarted him. But in the fourth one, he found a way around the curse that destoyed his body.

Well, Sirius once berkata that now they (Harry) are young, not him... We'll never know what was their fighting form (please, Rowling, tell us lebih :))) but I can imagine that it was almost like trio's fighting, only without The Choosen One, hopeless... Really, let's write a petition to Rowling!

Well, don't forget Harry's parents where aurors, and that was probably part of their job. They must have faced Voldemort, since they where in the first order of the phoenix before they died.

they were part of the order of the pheonix, so they probably did some blows to him, and when the did the charm that made it impossible for voldemort to find, then made wormtail secret keeper that was pretty tricky

There's no exact answer to this in the books. Dumbledore only says at the end of HP5 that both HArry & Neville's parents had defied Voldemort thrice. I suppose they did so when they worked for the order before Harry atau Neville's birth. Not sure.

I never think that lily and james outsmarted voldemort.The only reason why voldemort killed harry's parents is because they stand and gave their loyalty to dumbledore and they remain as a good witch and wizard until the end.or maybe voldemort just like killing sejak then,,and the other reason is because lily and james stand to put a courageous fight for harry's survival,(because voldemort wanted harry to make himself str0nger)
