Do anda believe that anda can only be a Harry Potter peminat if anda have read all of the books?

I think if anda are a real peminat anda should read the books. anda can be a peminat of the Filem but if anda are a peminat of Harry Potter anda read the book because that is the really Harry Potter.
What I get from your komen anda are a real HP peminat because anda are trying to read the buku and maybe even want to read all of them.

To those people who complains about that they can't read for some reasons, there is a reason there is audio books. I have read and "read" all of the buku myself several times (16/7 times, the last one only 6 times). I even learn to read properly from HP but I do listen to the audio buku sometimes because I don't like to read so much anymore like I did before, so today I try to walk so much as possible and in the mean time I listen to the books. English isn't my first language but I listen to them in English because I Cinta his voice, I mean he really brings the characters alive. And when I listen to them in English, I improve english at the same time.
I really enjoy that.

No. anda can fall in Cinta with Harry Potter at any time, :P

anda can be a peminat at any time, even just watching the movies. However, to be a true, die-hard fan, anda have to read the books. But you're already Membaca the books, so if anda continue to Cinta them and read them, then you're perfectly die-hard :)

Personnally I have read all the buku and I've seen all the Filem but I just consider myself just as a fan.
I don't believe of the crap and I repeat clearly myself THE crap other peminat-peminat atau people call "TRUE FAN" it doesn't exist such a thing atau person atau group of persons.
It's just a damn way to separate us and to make people feel bad just because they only like the buku atau only likes the movies.
For me anda are A peminat because anda like what anda read atau watched atau both, that is a fan.
Being a peminat is just liking the buku atau just one book atau one movie. People who say: "True peminat-peminat blablabla" just wants to give themselves some importance. I don't see the big deal about it. We're all HP peminat-peminat and we're all equal just sejak that.

If anda ask me, the answer is simple. anda can be a peminat if anda haven't read the books. But anda can not fully appreciate the beauty held in Harry Potter. So basically what I'm saying is this: anda are a fan. Not a true fan. When you've read all the buku though...that's a different story.

At least anda aren't one of those people who watches the Filem then reads the first two pages of the first book and say, "I don't like it. It's stupid." Hope anda finish them soon!

My Sister and Brother didn't start Membaca the buku until they saw the films. And my Mother, who has seen all the movies, has never once picked up a Harry Potter book, and she calls her self a "Die-hard" fan.

Maybe to some people that would mean you're not a true fan. But who cares what they think? What matters most is what anda think...

I stared loving Harry Potter when I saw the HP1 movie! I was so in Cinta with it. U don't have to read all 7 buku to become a peminat of HP, HP is sooo cool that anda can be a peminat of it sejak only watching the HP 1 movie ;) it's possible. And I did'nt read all buku yet,I just read HP 1,2 & 3 and saw all the movies. I agree with @innocenta.

No anda don't need to have read all the buku I was 3 when I became a peminat of Harry Potter and I couldn't read and so far I have only read Chamber of Secrets and the Prisoner of Azkaban

I don't agree with your mom at all. Being a 'real' peminat of anything is subjective. I've seen all the moves, read all the buku -- starting when they first came out --, been to almost all the midnight releases, dressed up as characters, and had themed parties. But I don't have the buku on tape, and hardly have any memorabilia, and some might say that I'm not a 'real fan.'

A real peminat is someone who loves the series, regardless of whether they've read all the books, seen all the movies, only got into it because of certain actors atau movies, atau got into it once it got 'popular.' The way I see it: if someone tells anda you're not a real peminat because anda didn't do what they've done, they're just trying to make themselves look and feel better sejak making anda look small.

I think that's a minimum, as everything started there, in the books. There might have been no movies, yet the buku are still there.

The Filem are great and in so many aspects, they convey what the atmosphere of the buku fairly well. Plus the cast is just wonderful. I encourage my students in the English language to watch the Filem because they are an highly enjoyable way to improve English, thanks to the impeccable diction of some of the actors.

However, the Filem could not tell everything. Many important subplots have been discarded. The buku are far richer and it's a pity not to read them.

Well you're a peminat of the Filem , but to be a TRUE peminat anda have to read the buku . I mean that's what everythings based on and I believe anda do have to read the buku if anda want to call yourself a true potterhead .

No. I'm a very big peminat of the movies. But never read the books. Well,except I read a few chapters on book 5. Just sayin.

I don't think anda have to read all of the buku to be a true HP peminat I've only read the last 2 myself and it did help me understand lebih about some of the characters better like Severus the Filem make him look pretty bad but once anda read the buku anda really understand why he had to be the way he was

You're a real peminat when anda believe you're a real fan, not when other believe it.

anda certainly can be a real HP peminat without Membaca the books, but you're cheating yourself if anda don't read them. The Filem are great, sure, but they pale in comparison to what JK Rowling wrote. When anda watch the movies, you're only getting maybe a quarter of the story, and you're getting someone else's vision of it. Only when anda read the buku do anda get the whole story, and anda can make your own movie in your mind. anda have your own vision of the story, and I think that's far lebih valuable.

And honestly, anda don't really know the true depth of the characters if anda don't read them. And if anda never read the books, then anda will never truly understand how brave, how awesome was our Potions Master, atau how great was his sacrifice, because the Filem do not do Severus Snape justice. Alan Rickman does, have no doubt, but the films just don't.

And if you're a peminat of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, as I am (passionately), you'll never really know them if anda don't read the books. Because the Filem trivialize them terribly.

If anda never read the books, you'll never meet Peeves, and that would just be sad, because he's such a wicked little guy. I Cinta him. ;)

I don't think anda have to read the buku to be a fan. I have several Friends that like the Filem and have never picked up one of the buku in their lives. That being said, I always encourage people to read the books. They have so many awesome moments in them that, unfortunately, never made it to the big screen. It takes longer to read a book than to watch a movie, but the buku are totally worth reading. anda can't get a full understanding of the magical world and of Harry's story if anda just watch the movies.

No. There's lots of Harry Potter peminat-peminat who haven't read the books, they just watch the movies.

Granted, I think you'll like Harry Potter lebih after you've read all the buku because the Filem miss a lot.

Everyone has their opinion. But I think it's a bit silly to asume anyone has the ability to say if someone else is really a true peminat atau not. That's for anda to say.

i personally don't think it matters what anda do its lebih of how anda feel about something that makes anda a true peminat if anda read all the buku and watch all the Filem but don't have a huge interest in it than your not a true peminat but if anda read a few buku atau watch some Filem and absolutly Cinta it than i think that makes anda a fan. I think its a personal desicion and judgement whether atau not your a peminat no one else can say that your not a real peminat because anda do atau don't do something that is up to you. I think that if anda read the buku anda will understand the movie lebih but if anda just watch the Filem then anda are still a fellow potter peminat because really a potter peminat just loves harry potter even if it is just the movies.

No. anda don't have to read the buku to be a true HP fan. Either makes anda a fan. Just as long as anda Cinta the story. But anda might get a better understanding of the story and get to read somethings that wasn't in the Filem if anda read the books.
