Well, at different times in the series he is hated sejak loads of people. In the first book he's hated sejak the majority of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff for losing fifty house points and letting Slytherin get the lead in the house cup. In the saat book he's hated because everyone thinks he's the heir of Slytherin. In the fourth film Hufflepuff hates him for being a Tri-Wizard champion. In the fifth book lots of people hate him (or think he' mad/attention seeking) for saying Voldemort is back.

The "letting You-Know-Who live longer so there can be lebih books" thing I don't agree with that either

That's a great idea. Wow. Yeah, I would've loved that. I never really hated the Dursleys, but this might have done the trick.
