I'd straight out agree, and say that Lavender is a nosy sob because of her coming on to Ron and such. But truly? I kinda like the gal. I mean, I could just as easily hate Pansy. She wasn't much involved in Hp, I suppose. But I don't hate either. Every male and female character is awesome!

She literally had NO important part of the story line except to move Ron/Hermione along. And that goes for cho too. And while I hate Ginny with Harry I don't hate her as a character and she had an important part in the story.

Cho and then Lavender what was the point?

they were just there for breaking up our favourite couples but they all found true love in the end

Both she and Cho basically existed to give Ron and Harry alternate first love interests. But at least Cho indirectly played a role in the DA's end, by inviting her friend Marietta along (and in the film it was Cho herself who betrayed them).

She was just the love interest.
