I think this is a very good every-day moral. It's easier to judge people based on how nice they are to you than for their actions or values.

Basically ever single one, though my all-time favorite is Dumbledore's own philosophy: Love is the most powerful tool of them all and it can defeat any amount of power.

But all of these morals make up a pure, content person which is why it is such a great book.

Every single one, but two of them really stuck out:

This one *point to choice* more so. I'm a very heavy supporter of homosexuals and I thought it great that, not only was a well-liked character gay, but he was also a powerful (in more ways than one) character.

The other one was the "not judging" one. It's actually something I do unconsciously and I've always wondered why so many people don't even try and do this.

@bri-marie same! I was celebrating when Dumbledore was outed. I think it's even better that the books don't mention it, because it just shows that it's not a big deal. And yet, at the same time, it sort of was a big deal because it played a part in the plot, it just did it "off-stage". (I'm talking about Dumbledore's blind admiration of Grindelwald, of course...)

To be honest it was impossible to chose but to me not letting others break you is very important. This included the bullying and abuse from parents. These are conditions beyond our control. Use abuse towards us as a lesson as how not to be and if one hears it coming out them or acting like the abuser does stop and do the opposite or say the opposite. If you disliked it so much why be like them.
