Just like I count interviews by JK as canon. The books can only fit so much in them while still staying on topic.

As same as I count Neville and Hannah or Luna and Rolf as canon couples, although she only said that in interviews. Or information about the trio and co.'s future careers. Anything that comes from JKR is canon for me.

I guess it'll depend on what kind of new info there is... if I hate it, I'll probably just treat it like fanfiction. I'm kind of excited for it, but I'm also worried that it'll ruin stuff for me. Guess I'll have to wait & see. *sigh*
