Even though Snape loves her,it's an one-sided love,she doesn't love him that way and they would never work out!!!

I love, love, love them both but there's something about James and Lily that just isnt there in Snape and Lily.

Though I think that Snape wouldnt have been as misjudged if he had been with Lily due to his love for her.

Snape would have been a good dad for Harry I just believe him being put in Slytherin made him look bad to her and after watching & reading "a prince's tale" from DH2 I know he's not as bad as he was made to be and if he were put in the house things could have ended up differently between them

Honestly, Lily NEVER loved Snape the way he loved her. James changed himself for Lily, something Snape never did.
