Yes, Severus got more and more handsome. He was definitively gorgeous in the HBP and DH movies.

In the later movies he kind of lost track of the Snape-ness (?) that he had in the earlier films. He was the only one whom JK Rowling told their characters their fate and I think he started concentrating on making his character fulfill that fate and lost a lot of the character he as an actor had built.

I agree with Styles-Dawson. In philosopher's stone Rickman did the best job. He played the character exactly as he was depicted in the novel.
