I hope it isn't either! It would be horrible! :O
are looking inside HOUSE's HEAD. Compare this two episodes. I know it's because House changed his view on life and priorities, and he loves Cuddy and Wilson, but still, it's not why I love this show.
It was strong, mini-medicine episode. And I would love it, if it happened once a season. This years it happened like every few episodes. It's too much for me.
Alvie got cooler, through. He annoyed me in Mayflied and I loved him in this one.
Yes, I loved this episode and it's point of veiw on House's relashionships. I liked how House was being treated like he treats others and this time it was almost like he was the puzzle being figured out instead of the patient who played a very small role in this episode. And of course I loved the complete randomness of Alvie! XD <3
I LOVED THIS EPISODE. It's in one of my top five now. I liked the way that it was filmed much the way that Three Stories was -- him telling a story and what he finds irrelevant/relevant.
Alvie kicks ass. I'm sad House didn't get to say goodbye, because honestly, it's obvious that House almost considers the maniac a friend.
It was really sad how House believes Wilson and Cuddy see him and therefore why one of his mottos is "Everybody Lies". This episode just shattered the assertion a lot of fans have had throughout the years that whatever House feels for Cuddy is superficial, more to the terms of possesiveness. Like the tattoo, it runs deeper even we can't or don't want to admit it.
@salemslot..enjoyed your comment very much! Especially your shout out for Nolan. Yes, what an acting match up between doctor & doctor/patient. IMO, they should have used this richly powerful dynamic..somewhere mid-season. Instead, the year nearly overdosed on Hilson. Beautiful thought too @salem, can't simply erase your past..via the tattoo..(just as maybe Alvie's rolling fresh paint over House's apartment walls..didn't "cover" his past either).
Also...how the closer House reaches the core cause of his inner turmoil, the more agitated he becomes to find himself unable to keep it together...because his hold on life..(his own baggage) has been opened & cast out..vulnerable because things are no longer in his control (Cuddy is out of place)...all elements of his elaborate psychological construction are collapsing...as the upcoming Finale crane collapse looks to mimic in tragic totality. Cuddy was almost a mythical part of the safety net in his mind...that he kept on the shelf there..like that beautiful book..(he always "meant" to give her).
The music selection was integrated meaningfully..along with the (jazz) pace of "Baggage" so extremely well orchestrated and directed..because it moved along like no other episode..it clicked in and out of time and place seamlessly.
Alvie! <3 Can't believe he just left though :(
Even though it was about medicine I thought they balanced it well. &The color of the episode was AMAZING. Camera shots & angles.
& we're finally learning the innerness of House. Maybe we'll finally find out soon :)
I've been waiting for an episode like this; House is being psychoanalyzed. I just jizzed py pants. *______*
