If there was a sequel, what do anda think would happen?

The ending to Impossible Creatures is that Rex and Lucy have won as well as end the Sigma Teachnology. But something else to note is at the end, Rex's eyes chance from normal to like the creatures. (It is known that he is a product of the Sigma teachnology).

If a sequel was to have been made, what do anda think would happen? Would Rex and Lucy return? Would there be new characters? Would the Sigma Teachnology really be destoryed? What do anda think?
