151119 IU's side responds to rumors that IU will not be attending any award shows

It has been reported that IU will not be attending the '2015 MAMA (Mnet Asian Muzik Awards)' due to the alleged tantrum she threw at the '2014 MAMA.' Afterwards, IU supposedly boycotted all Muzik award shows, such as the '2015 Melon Muzik Awards' and the 'Golden Disk.'

However, IU's side quickly stepped ke hadapan to refute these reports, claiming the actual reason the singer will not be attending the '2015 MAMA.'

IU's agency Loen Entertainment to Asia Today on November 19, "The boycotting of the awards shows is not true. We never got the requests in relation to attendance from the hosts. She couldn't attend the '2015 Melon Muzik Award' because of a peminat meet in China and as for the '2015 MAMA,' she just hasn't received an invitation yet. Attendance for the other awards haven't been confirmed due to her domestic tour."

IU released a quick look at the Muzik video filming of "Coin" on Tuesday. In her official YouTube channel, she uploaded a nearly 17-minute video, featuring the production and set up of the material. Alongside giving her peminat-peminat and viewers an idea of how it all went down, the video is, also, providing the audience a peek at the singer's thoughts while doing the scenes.

In one of the brief talks she did for the clip, the ungu, lilac artist shared that it was the first time she felt "nervous" filming a Muzik video. As it happened, it was all because of actor Kim Yoon Seok, who made a cameo on the material....

In light of the success of “Sogyeokdong”, Seo Taiji’s collaboration with IU, it has been confirmed that IU will be joining Seo Taiji in his comeback konsert later this month.

After five years without releasing an album, Seo Taiji released his collaboration track with IU, “Sogyeokdong" which was an instant hit, ranking first in many of Korea’s major Muzik charts.

Seo Taiji’s company announced that IU would be perfomring “Sogyeokdong" with Seo Taiji at his comeback konsert ‘Christmalowin’ on October 18th at Seoul’s Jamsil Olympic Park.
