Lady GaGa takes her fight against bullying to a new level. On Wednesday, November 2, the 25-year-old pop bintang announced that she is launching the Born This Way Foundation with the aim to empower youth and address issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development.

In a statement, the "You and I" singer called the foundation "a passion project" that she will direct with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta. On its goal, she explained, "Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment."

GaGa also made use of her Twitter to share words about her new foundation, which will "utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change". She tweeted on Wednesday, "I'm proud to announce: My mommy + I have created 'The Born This Way Foundation' A place for Bravery, Love, Acceptance."

The Grammy winner is partnering up with the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the California Endowment and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard universiti for the effort which will have its official launch sometime in 2012. An advisory board and lebih details about the organization will be announced soon.

In the romance department, GaGa is berkata to be dating "The Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney. A sumber told Us Magazine, "They're hooking up and getting to know each other." Still, the sumber added that the two aren't serious as explaining, "GaGa can't be too committed because she works 24/7. But she thinks he's supercute!"
